I was listening to the question on the email show about printing boarding passes and wanted to pass this along...
Last Sept for free dining, DD13 and I were staying at All Stars Music and they told us that if we just went to Guest Services with the info, they would print our airline boarding passes for free. Sure enough, I took my confirmation #s to Guest Services the day before our flight home and a CM printed them all while I waited - no extra charge - and that was at a value resort :thumbsup2 I would have to imagine if you are staying at the Poly they would also print them for free at Guest Services in the Lobby.

I just wanted to add that they did it for us at Pop, BCV and OKW without any problems. We didn't have to pay a fee either.

I had boarding passes printed at OKW and Hollywood Studios...piece of cake!

Excellent to know. I was wondering about it myself.

I have done the same at a couple of resorts (both DVC and Non) and have never had a problem.

I do have all my information readily available so not to hold up the line.

I have printed my Boarding passes at MK, AKL, SOG, YC and POP. No problem and no charge. :thumbsup2

Last Sept we had an ADR for the Yachtsmen Steakhouse at 6:00pm. our 24hr mark for SouthWest check in was 6:05pm. So we were seated right at 6:00 and I ran over to the front desk and they checked me in for my flight and printed out my A boarding pass. :thumbsup2 There were actually about 5 people in line doing the exact same thing. ::yes::

I believe you can also check in on line on your phone and print out the boarding passes at the Kiosk when you get to the airport.

I don't know if this is a no-no or not, but in Feburary when I flew SW, I had my mom go on-line at home and print the boarding passes, then she faxed them to me at the hotel. I didn't have any problem with them. I had her do that because I wanted to print them out right at 24 hours before the flight to get an A pass and we were in the parks at that time.

No need to have someone fax your boarding passes. You can have someone back home check you in 24 hours before (to get the A group) and then print the boarding passes at the airport at the self service kiosk. If you have luggage to check in, you don't even have to go to the kiosk. You can have anyone at the ticketing print your boarding passes.

Huh. Cool!!!!!!!! :cool1:

So is this only true for Southwest? So if you and you have a laptop, if this is the case with all the airlines, you wouldn't need to worry about printing the boarding passes no?

I can't speak for all airlines, but I know this works for Southwest and Airtran. I don't fly Airtran but friends of ours were visiting us last month and we were at Blizzard Beach on the day they had to check in. I used my phone to check them in and they printed their boarding passes at the airport.

I would suspect you can do this with most airlines. Give the airline a call to confirm.

Hey guys that was my email question! I missed it when I listened the other day, my son was running around yelling and I guess I missed it. Thanks for the info! I have always gone to a business center at hotels(non disney) and I was a little stumped when we were at the Poly, the front desk was of no help when we asked. Thanks for the help Corey!

:thumbsup2 You can also go to Guest Services at the parks and they will print your boarding passes there to. We were at Animal Kingdom and needed to do our boarding passes 24 hrs ahead of time. They did with with no problem and we were on our way to enjoy the park.

That's what I'm going to do this next trip. I don't think we could check-in thru our cell and don't want to bring the laptop. Thanks

This is what I did too, flying SW. I used to have someone check me in online- they do NOT print it though, and then at the airport- at baggage check in, I have them print it. Last trip I added internet to my cell for 5.00 for 1 month (or you can just pay partial month if you want) and I did it myself! Easy too! I did it right on the tram in seconds, when I saw that I got an A pass, I was all set. SO easy! I still got the print at baggage check in too :thumbsup2

Do you still get a shirt if the gang reads your email? I wonder if I could get a little one for my son. I was waiting for the new design to get a summer shirt for me and a little one for baby, OT I know just wondering.

Yep you do :) But they want voice mails more :goodvibes

I believe just about any concierge at any hotel would print out your boarding passes. We had the concierge at our hotel in Vegas do ours the night before our flight.
