We will be staying at All Star Movies from 9/21-9/29. We are flying Southwest and taking advantage of ME. I know that ME does not deal with Southwest for flights leaving Disney, but is it possible to have the front desk at the hotel print out my boarding passes the day before we leave? Has anyone done this?

We have had both POR and AKL print out our boarding passes for us on non-participating airlines. However they will only print them 12 hours prior to your flight boarding time if it is for a non-participating airline. It has been a year since we have visited though so maybe the policy has changed on the 12 hour limit since then. Both resorts were very nice about printing the boarding passes for us though.

We were in WDW in May and had ours printed at Epcot's guest services 24 hrs in advance. They were very nice about it.

I was there in March and POFQ Guest Relations did the printing 24 hours ahead.

Okay, I guess I am confused. If we are flying AirTran from Illinois and staying at POR (and to my knowledge they aren't part of the deal) and they print our boarding passes, how do we handle our luggage?

Also, I am going again 2 wks later and I am flying on a participating airline so we can just check our luggage at the resort, however what would anyone recommend that I do with our carryons? The bags will not/do not have locks on them and there will be a dvd player in them for the kids. We don't leave Orlando until 7:00 p.m. I don't want to cart around our carryon's and I don't know if they will hold them at the resort and be careful not to put something on top of the bag with the breakables??? Any suggestions or ideas?:confused3

If your airline is not part of the deal you carry your luggage to the ME bus for the ride back to MCO.

Carry ons can be checked with the Bell Desk. You can buy little locks for your luggage zippers. If you don't want the items broken in your bag, pack better or get a hard sided bag.

Dimples, AirTran is now a participating airline, so you should have no problems there. Bell Services will hold your carryons. They are very good and I really don't see a problem. Go, Have a good time!!!!!

I read somewhere back that Airtran is only good at certain Disney resorts and POR is one of those that was not on the "trial" basis. Does anyone know if this has changed and POR is now included??? Oh, I sure hope so as this will be great!

Go to the Transportation board and check it out there. That is where I found out about Transair being part of the group.
