I hope someone can help me. I have been trying to come up with a way to print out the 4x6 autograph cards. I have a really crappy printer. I am hoping Santa brings me a new one for Christmas. :santa: Anyhow, I was thinking of printing the cards as "photos" at Walmart. I tried and a Sharpie dries within a few second of writing on a photo. Is printing these allowed at Walmart? Or do you think there is some copyright issues because these are Disney characters? TIA

I have had my disney stuff printed at Walmart, Costco and Shutterfly. I have had no problems. I don't even think they notice what they are printing!

That's good to know. Someone asked me and I said no as I thought they wouldn't do it. Good news. :goodvibes Thank you. Penny:hippie:

We are excitedly preparing for our trip (just 50 days to go!! :woohoo: ) and have had over 100 of the autograph cards printed during the last two weeks, both at Future Shop and Walmart. Neither have had an issue with printing them, and they have turned out great!!!

Chaoscent, I have to thank you for your hard work on designing the cards. I can't tell you how much we non-artistic folk appreciate your efforts. A good deal of the cards that we printed are from your site (probably at least 2/3 of them) and they look fantastic! :thumbsup2

OP, I think having them printed by a retail photofinisher is the best way to go. You get photo-quality prints for just pennies a picture (our Walmart here in Ontario is only 15 cents a pic, Future Shop is 19 cents each), which for my printer is WAY less than I would pay for ink and paper.

Enjoy your trip!!! :flower3:

Why that is so nice of you to say. I often wonder if people are using the cards that I make or I am doing it for myself. :lmao: It is fun to make them so I am glad people are enjoying them. Have a great trip.

Don't forget if you want a word document (that you can cut/paste down to a 2 pager) that lists all the Characters that sign, email me at chaoscent@verizon.net. Have fun. Penny:hippie:

How do take them to walmart, do you save the cards and then burn them on cd?

You could probably just upload them to Walmart.com and have them developed that way. I haven't tried this yet for autograph cards, but I have done it for other designs. I have uploaded them to shutterfly and had them developed as photos and used them on my scrapbook pages.
