Printer Recommendations?

Hi--posted on the arts and crafts board but think it more properly belongs here:

--I am just getting started making t-shirts and such and know I need to buy a color printer. Is an inkjet or a laser printer better? Anyone have any recommendations for one they like? Because of space limitations I would like a multi-function (fax, scan, copier) as well as a printer.

I am in no way an expert but I believe that an inkjet is better.

I think that I have heard that there are transfers to use with a laser printer but that the usual transfers you will find that are widely available are for inkjet printers.

Maybe go to your local store and research what they have available.
