I was printing some photos last night and my printer made an loud crunching noise and died
Looks like one of the plastic belts inside has snapped. It's an HP PhotoSmart 1000 and is over 5 years old, so I've had good service from it.
So, went to Curry's this morning and got a new printer
It's a Canon Pixma iP5200 and so far I'm really impressed with the print quality, both normal plain paper printing and photo printing.
It does borderless prints, double sided and prints CDs! It also has a large paper cartride for plane paper and an auto-sheet feeder for photo paper.
Not bad for £50!
So if anyone wants some compatible HP catridges let me know. I've got 2 off C6578A colour and 1 off 51645A black and white cartridges.
