"Print your own" wedding invitations

Thanks! Yes, it is the castle punch. My DH picked it up once long before the wedding and I said "what are we gonna use that for?" He said, "dunno, but I like it." Came in handy when I was looking for that last little touch on the invites! :goodvibes

Druidia,

The invitations look great! I'm so glad you posted a picture because I have been having such a hard time visualizing what the blank invitations look like after you print them. What font did you use for your invitations, and how many tries did it take to perfect the printing of it?

I 'won' the castle punch from ebay and I'm even more happy that I did now that I've seen your creations.

I think I used the Papyrus font in Word. I can't even recall how many tries it took to get it right. I know it was several!

Those kits have a paper template that I made copies of and used over and over to get the alignment right before testing on the actual invite paper.

The punch idea was something I tried to fill up space since we didn't have a lot of wording on our invites. I really like that part. :goodvibes

We did our own newsletters, programs, menus, table cards and place cards as well, and those were far more challenging. The invites were the easiest part!

Thanks!

I think we are going to go with these for our invitations, you all sold me on the "print your own" wedding stuff!

the invitations!

Thank you for posting! Those are so cute. I also found some that I haven't seen anywhere that are very cheap in comparison to the pre-made ones. Thanks!!!!

Even after you buy the sleeves separately it's still only $50 for 50 for everything!
(when it has the sleeve price, that's for 50 also, right?)

I think the sleeves have 50, I was also trying to figure that out! I love the pink ones you had linked, I would have wanted to go with those if I had pink in my colors. They are too cute with the little dot border.
