What Princesses themed meals are recommended other than Cinderellas royal Table.

DisneyGoof just informed me that it will be closed when we are there and that is going to crush my 6yr DD. I need to find a good alternative.

Thanks Dave

Princess Storybook Breakfast in Norway Epcot and Cinderella's Gala feast for dinner at Grand Floridian. Never did the bfast in Norway but the dinner was fun.

There's the Princess Breakfast at Askerhaus in Epcot. They have Snow White, Jasmine, Auroa, Ariel and Pocahontas. Maybe Belle too. Please correctme if I'm wrong.

What about dinner at 1900 Park Fare. Cinderella, Suzy, Perla, the Fairy Godmother and Prince Charming will be there. This is always one of our favorite meals and we will be eating Thanksgiving there this year.

Jan princess:

How is the Princess Breakfast at Akershus and how does it compare to the others?

You'll get mixed reactions on CRT and PSB, but we LOVED PSB (Princess Storybook Breakfast in Norway). It was 5 adults when we went, and we loved the food, had great service, relaxing morning, and great interaction with the princesses. We saw Mulan, Belle, Snow White, Aurora, and Jasmine.

I believe the princesses rotate for this breakfast. I was just there last week & saw Belle, Jasmine, Aurora, Mary Poppins and Mulan.

This will be my first time at WDW and I am hoping to take my girls to the Cinderella breakfast. I hadn't heard anything about it closing. Why? Are they reopening? If so - how long will it be closed?

I am trying to be brave and hope that it will be available again at the end of May 2005. Is there hope for us??

Thanks for your help

The first of May, Disney is planning a big anniversary celebration, so I would bet the renovation will be done for that.

The PSB is getting to be very hard to get. Many make a reservation there if they can't get into CRT. I'm sure with the Castle closed it will be even harder. Call right at your 90 day mark. I'd make the dinner reservation if I couldn't get in for the breakfast.

I is just closed from Jan 17th to Jan 27th our trip is Jan 20th to the 29th. You will be fine. I imagine it is just a mini rehab, maybe paint and some new equipment somehting of that nature. Being froma restuarant background I know you have to close for those kind of things even if it is just for the dust factor that it creates.

Hope you enjoy your first trip, have a magical time.

My daughter actually preferred the Princess Storybook Breakfast in Norway to CRT on our last two trips (when she was 6 & 7). Since Akershus (restaurant in Norway) has now closed for lunch, they've extended the hours of the Princess Storybook Breakfast, and you may be able to grab a 11:30 ps and call it lunch, even if you're leaving fairly soon.

We went to the PSB on 10/23 and they had Belle, Jasmine, Aurora, Mary Poppins and Mulan. I liked the food there a bit more (they have warm cinnimon rolls on the table). The food is served family style in a skillet.

We had the CRT on 10/22 and we saw Fairy God Mother, Belle, Mary Poppins, Aurora, and of course Cinderella. Our waiter gave us a choice of two preplated breakfast - one was healthy and one was not (he called the unhealthy one the "vacation breakfast")

We did the 1900 Park Fare dinner on 10/22 and saw the Fairy God Mother, Cinderella, the Prince, Mice, and Chip and Dale. The characters spent the most time with us there. My daugther had to go the the rest room and we saw Chip and Dale in the Lobby and they played Ring around the Rosie (sp) with my daugter.

The other characters (other than fairy god mother) came to our table MANY times. It was my daugters birthday, and even Cinderella came back by when they brought her cake. Our waiter was great and he said to let him know if any of them missed us.

PSB is great! Our DD4 loved the interaction, and the princesses do rotate: we had Snow, Aurora, Mulan, and Jasmine. As an extra treat, Jasmine is a real delight for DHs! The food was quite good, all-you-care-to-eat skillet meals with eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, and really good cheesy potatoes. There were fresh cinammon rolls and fresh fruit at the table when we sat down, and we never had to ask for refills on juice, coffee, etc. Great service and the princesses were delightful. Highly recommended.
