Princesses at Norway

I am so glad I found this thread. We are taking my Step DD, 22 at the time of the trip for her first real WDW vacation. She went once with her band, they stayed off-site and only had a partial day at MK. She loves Ariel and Belle so I figured this would be the perfect character meal. I am glad to here both princesses are normally there.

We are going at the end of the month. My daughter is very excited and I love the Prince in training idea for my son!

Is it crazy to go to this without kids?? I'm dying to see the princesses, but we don't have children yet! Do any adults go without kids?

If you want to see the princesses go! I like Eyeore so I'd still go to Crystal Palace even if we didn't have kids. :goodvibes

My girlfriend (23) and I (26) have done many of the character meals (for example this past May we did 5 or 6) and we don't have kids. Sometimes the characters may skip over your table or might try to get away with just waving but no picture. In those cases you just have to ask the CM's who watch the characters that they come back for a picture. Other times it seems like the characters interact with us a bit more, particularly with the princesses.

We first went when DD was 14 months. We pretty much went for us under the guide of going for DD... :lmao: Oh, and MIL enjoyed it too! She got a great pic with Snow White because that was her favorite!

The last week of September 2010 had Belle greeting everyone, then Snow White, Aurora, Ariel, and Cindy walking around.

The girls were great and the food was good. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

Thanks everyone! We have a reservation for Sunday Nov 21st, and I was starting to feel self-conscious that we would be the only adults without kids. It is our honeymoon trip, and I want to get pictures of my Prince Charming with the princesses.

I agree with the other posters. Do 1900 Park Faire for a guaranteed Cinderella dinner. My girls picked that for this trip over Cinderella's Castle. We did both in December 2008.

When we did Norway in Dec08, we saw Belle, Cinderella, Aurora, Jasmine & Ariel. I sure hope Aurora stays in rotation because she is my little one's "go to" princess.

We had the same experience in September for breakfast. Lunch and dinner menu does not appeal to us but breakfast is pretty good. And my eight year old niece was so excited to see the princesses. We had told her not to count on Cinderella because the last time we went (in 2007) Cinderella was not present.
