Question...did your seamstress sew in the pockets? Or were they already there? Does it lay flat okay?

These are the first pics I've seen of pockets in the wedding dress. I was thinking of asking my seamstress about it, but never seen it before and wasn't sure if she'd think I was crazy! I was thinking that having a pocket sewn it would alleviate the need to carry around a purse. Just something big enough to put the room key, my driver's licence, and a ziplock baggie with a shout wipe/safety pin/lipstick touchup stick in it.

My cousin's purse just seemed to keep getting left all over the place at her wedding. I'd totally freak if I didn't know where my stuff was! Having it in my pocket would definitely make me feel much better.

Answers: Yes the pockets are sewn in. It is a Mary's Bridal gown and alot of them include a pocket. My dress also came witha purse with matching beading and a jacket.

I have my hanky in my pocket already.

Wow. That gazeebo is way bigger than I thought. Should buy more stuff than planned to decorate, lol. Our wedding is out by the gazeebo. 125-150 guests. We have half the ballroom... What are you guys doing for alcohol... they don't do open bar anymore and we're so confused as to what to do now.

Wow you are having alot of guests. I really do not think you need alot of decoration for the gazebo. It is gorgeous. We actually aren't having alcohol. I would come up with a idea that you want and run it past Rich he has been very open to some of my crazy ideas.

Karen, I know we'll have to run into you sometime on the 12th! You must be getting very excited now too. Just try not to leave to much of a mess in the pavilion for us--ha ha!
