I want to hear about the welcome campfire.

Our guests will be taking the boat from MK over to Fort Wilderness for the Campfire and sing along with Chip and Dale. They are putting us in a special section. We are attaching items for smores on the Campfire invitation. Basically there is a Disney movie played on a screen outdoors, roasting marshmellows, sing along and time to meet Chip and Dale.

That sounds so nice!!! I never knew there was anything like this is WDW!!! Love the idea!

It's actually free, unless you buy marshmellows from them. Offered everynight I believe. My family has done it several times.

It's every night. weather permitting, and they usually show two movies under the stars. :)

I swear-- disney offers so much that its easy to not know about it all. There have been many nights at Disney that DH and I dont want to go to the parks or DTD-- so we just stay at the hotel, swim, or crash early. Thats awesome-- ill definately have to remember that!! Thanks girls!! Any other cool things like that I should know about ;)

Seriously! Now I want to steal the idea too :) Even if it was just for our families the first night! Who did you call, Laura, to get the special 'reserved' section? THANKS for the idea :goodvibes

All I did was call the ADR line. We were talking about Welcome party ideas. The CM suggested it. And did the arranging. If you are a small group, you will be just fine going.

Thanks! It might be about 20 of us. Maybe I'll call and ask. Any idea what the movies are? Is there a schedule somewhere?

that is such an awesome idea! I never knew they did this! Your wedding is going to be so much fun! I can't wait to read your TR and see pics of everything all together!

The t-shirts look great! Did you trim the edges of the paper so the white doesn't show up on the shirts? I'll be ironing my t-shirts within the next week too. I found a supplier in town that sells more than just t-shirts, so I'm buying fitted tees and tank tops for some of the ladies. After some testing, I've decided to use dark transfer paper. I see on your gray t-shirt, the gray is showing through the picture a little bit. :)

I don't have a hard surface to iron the shirts, but I figured out I could go to Home Depot to buy a large granite tile for just a few dollars. I put that on my ironing board and it works great to maintain the heat.

Yeah i used the dark transfer paper on the blue shirts. I liked the look of the color showing through. Yes I trimed them. You can just iron them on a counter or cutting board. I did them all in about an hour. I am making 2 more tomarrow. I'll post pics.
