I just saw the commercial and am contemplating getting tickets. Do you think a boy would like it? It doesn't give a lot of info, but the Bayou Adventure part might appeal to DS.

I think it will entertain boys and girls. The comedy is evident from the trailer, especially from Naveen, who I am sure any kid would get a kick out of. And then there is the whole magical transformation side with Dr. Facilier - he might even be the character I am most excited to see. Have you caught this video clip all about him?

At the D23 Expo they showed the first 30 minutes. Some of it was still in B&W as all the work has not been completed. I was in hysterics a couple of times; it is funny beyond belief. (Especially the cat.)

I am getting mine though my TA with the group rate. I was worried about that but she said that we wouldnt be seperated.

bummer that I won't be able to make it to one of those screenings! You'll have to report back with a full review for those of us that can't make it.

In lieu of any reviews thus far, I thought I'd pass along this 5 minutes of footage from the film. Interested to watch the second half in particular since that animation is only in the early stages - cool to see how far they come from initial sketches to the finished product.
