We are booked here for lunch. We did CRT last trip so wanted to try something different. I'm a bit worried about the menu, though. Braised lamb and salmon are not high on our list of things to eat. Honestly, we are not that picky, but neither my dh or I eat salmon and neither of us are fond of lamb. Will we be able to find something here that we like? Originally dh was all for this one but after reading him the description from our Unofficial Guide Book he wants me to change to CRT.

Opinions?

which is why we booked breakfast. The lunch/dinner menu seemed peculiar for a place where the guests would be mostly children. I would have given it a whirl, but my daughter and mother I was not so sure about, so we will go for breakfast. I've heard it has gotten wonderful reviews. I'll be curious to see what you think.:scared1:

We had lunch there last month. We have boys, who weren't traveling with us, and only dined here because my husband wanted to try the food. The service was great; the food was so-so. The cold buffet was very good; neither my DH or I liked the entrees. He had the Braised Lamb and I had the Traditional Kjottkake. The only thing we liked was the potatos and the dessert.

The food is excellent. I'm not an adventurous eater and neither is my daughter but we love the food at Askerhus.

We are trying Lunch on our upcoming trip. My DH always requests this place. We have been to dinner twice already. The food is always good and the service fantastic. They even brought DH samples because he couldn't decide what to order.

Can people recommend something specific that they enjoyed? we have lunch too, and i want to recancel for BF. We have fussy people in our party but they are also not big BF eaters. We decided on lunch because they don't want to eat a big meal before 2pm.

What are some good and safe entrees for lunch(no fish or lamb here!)
