I will be heading to Disney in the early Spring next year. My 6 year old niece will be going along for the trip. We wanted to do Cinderellas castle for dinner one evening but no one in our party is to keen on the dinner menu. So we thought maybe breakfast. The more I have been thinking, I can't see using 2 TS for breakfast. I heard that the Princess Storybook Dining is alot nicer. The menu looks alot better also. Anyone have any experiences with the PSD?? Thanks kindly, Jen;)

We ate there last week. It was delicious, and wonderful princess interaction. I noted in my dining review that I would be really surprised if this meal stayed as 1 credit in 2009. It was very expensive and two 8x10 pics were included. Still...even with 2 credits it is a must for little girls who love the princesses.

There is a cold bar with fruit, cheese, meats and pastries. They bring a hot plate to you with eggs, potato casserole, sausage and bacon. All you can eat!

Thanks LemonDog, Have you ever ate dinner there? The breakfast sounds really good also. Jen:idea:

Hi JennyWren. Never had dinner...my DH is pretty picky and I figured I better stick something safe.

We ate at the casle for dinner last Sept. The menu looks like the food is fancy, but it was actually quite good and the child's menu was just like everywhere else.

My family and I at there last year for breakfast with 3 little girls ages ranging from 7 - 4. We absolutely loved it. The hot food they bring to you is delicious and so is the fruit, pasteries, and other things you can get at the cold bar. Oh and to drink, I recommend trying orange juice if you like it. I loved it! The princess interaction is excellent. Another plus is you can get most of the Disney princess's autograph all at once, so more searching during the rest of the stay. ;) Yes, this place is good.

Something else to keep in mind... At dinner at CRT the only person in attendance is the Fairy Godmother. My daughter would be really disappointed to find out there where no princesses. We have an adr at Princess Storybook for our coming up trip and we can't wait. When we saw Belle at Goofy's Kitchen in Disneyland she was in her little blue outfit. I think it is a special treat to see her all decked out in her ballgown. Plus as mentioned before it is only one table service and you still get some pics to take home. I say book this one before it's to late !!!

We prefer the Princess Storybook Dining for dinner over Cinderella's Royal Table. The food is a little better, and the Princesses are all scheduled to arrived at each table. They don't rush away and they take the time to speak to my children and have some photos. My children (3 and 8) love the appetizer buffet...they loved the smoked salmon and peel and eat shrimp.

The problem we had with them was that the front check in was sooo disorganized. There were families coming up and asking about the reservation and being told that they were called. The problem when we were there, the person calling had such a soft voice, you actually had to be very close to hear him.

We ate at the PSD in June (not for the Princesses, DH loved eating in Norway before they turned it into a Princess dinner)

Food was good, Princess interaction was very good. If you're going for the Princesses, this is a good way to do it. If you're going for the food, it's a good deal on the DDP, not so good OOP. We spent almost as much on this dinner as we had the night before at the Hollywood Brown Derby (where we had an appy, 2 "adult" drinks and 4 desserts) Food & Service were far superior at Brown Derby!

I will say that we did the Princess breakfast at Norway (quite a few years ago) and it was very good.

Went for breakfast last year - the food was good, the poatoes were adicting and the interaction with the princesses was excellent.

Anyone have comments re: lunch with the princesses? Equally good as dinnertime? How about the food?

Thanks!
LInda

Hi!! We had dinner there the first week of June - everyone thoroughly loved their food, even the kids who had to choose from the children's menu! We were on the DDP and as a PP stated, it would have been very expensive to pay OOP. I still kept track of what we "would" have spent and this was our most expensive dinner from the trip which also included Chef Mickey's, O'Hana, Boma, Biergarten & 1900 Park Faire.

We had Belle in her yellow gown for the posed photo right inside the entrance with Ariel, Cinderella, Jasmine & Aurora as the princesses who stopped by our table. Ariel spent the most time with us, but I really think that's because my daughter was the most interested in her. Overall, this whole experience was fantastic & we'd do it again in a heartbeat!!

BTW, we did have breakfast at CRT in May 2006 and we enjoyed this dinner much more.
