I am thinking of taking my DD5 and DD9 to a Character breakfast and I'm keen for some feedback on what the Princess Storybook one is like.
Thanks

Hi there...

We did the Princess Storybook Breakfast at EPCOT last August and really enjoyed it.

Arrive a good half hour before at the EPCOT gate because it is a fair walk to Norway.

The restaurant is like a castle on the outside and a warm country house on the inside.

Servers were attentive and efficient, there were sweet rolls, muffins and fruit waiting on the tables. Servers were quick to bring coffee, juice or milk for your drinks .. within moments Snow White started circulating through the room stopping at each table for a chat and photos...

Hot breakfast arrived and consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast sticks, potatoes.. you could ask for more if you wanted.

Soon the other characters followed... Belle, Jasmine, Mary Poppins and Sleeping Beauty.

We enjoyed this breakfast as much as Cinderella's Royal Table at MK... with that one slightly better only because it is so cool to eat in the Castle and see Cindy - but quality of food and service was the same at both places..

There are some photos from this breakfast on my website link below, if you want to have a look.

Hope this helps

We went in December, and actually liked it better than CRT!

We saw Mulan, Jasmine, Belle, Snow White, and Aurora. All the CM's were great, and the character interaction wasn't as rushed. There was also a little more elbow room in the restaurant. It was nice to see some more ethnic princesses - my daughter's prefer Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas, etc. to the "white bread" princesses. Lots more spunk!

How difficult is it to get a PS for the Princess Breakfast at Norway? Is it as hard as for CRT?

Thanks for the link to your brilliant website! The pictures are fantastic and I definately want to book! Do you know if I can book online or can you tell me the best way to reserve a table?
Thanks for your help

Christi-

You need to call 1-407-WDW-DINE to reserve any priority seating. Good luck getting your reservations!

This meal isn't as hard to get as CRT, but it is definitely becoming more popular and it's hard to get a reservation if you leave it to the last minute. The benefit is this one can be booked 120 days in advance.

So-so food, but DD loved the princesses. Probably you get the best bang-for-your-buck, princess-wise, at Storybook. They seemed pretty non-stop the whole time we were there.

Just got our reservations made. Only problem is that I am not really sure where we go to eat. How do we find the Storybook Breakfast? Thanks in advance.

It's at Restaurant Akershus, in the Norway pavilion in World Showcase.

went to storybook breakfast 3/24/03 and cinderella 3/25/03. here's our impression. . .

storybook--better food (taste, appearance, temperature etc)more selections for beverages. we saw mary poppins, jasmine, belle, pocahantas, aurora

cinderella--atmosphere nicer (i mean it is the castle!). food cold, less selection, less taste. saw cinderella, mary popins, belle, aurora, snow white

given the choice , i'd do storybook again!
