To those of you who have done this Character Meal I like to hear your opinions. I'm considering it for our next trip. What do they serve for breaksast? TIA!

Candi: I would like to know this information also. I made a PS for Feb 11th at 8:30am but wondering if I should make a later one. I didnt have any trouble making this reservation as the person stated I could have any day that week was opened.

We just returned and had a great time at the PSB.

You start out with a plate of danish and a plate of fruit and afterwards they bring out a skillet with the basics in there, sasuage, eggs, bacon, these cheesey potatoes, waffles.

It is definatley our favorite character breakfast, we had a magical time this past Monday!!

Our PS time was at 10am and it was nice because we entered through the International Gateway and WS was not open yet but walking through UK and Canada and Mexico by ourselves was so nice. Got a lot of great pictures and hearing the music it was super!!

We have done both the PSB and Cindy's and this year my girls asked to go back to PSB - better characters and more variety.

We thought the food was very good and the atmosphere a little more relaxed, although I have heard varied opinions on this.

Overall, I would rate it very good.

We went to PSB on Thanksgiving with our DD's (2 & 7). It was a nice experience. The characters were very nice and you got to see 5 princess at once.

The food however was only so-so. There were a few pieces of fruit and pastries when you were seated. I didn't really get to have much of this because there wasn't that much and my daughers were hungry. A skillet of hash browns, scrambled eggs, waffles, bacon and sausage was brought to the table. It was all piled together (which my husband really hated). The waffles were cold and hard. Everything just tasted like it had been made for a while and sitting in that skillet. We ran out of eggs and the waitress got us a fresh pan. The second serving was much better. It must have been recently cooked.

Would we go again?? If my daughter wanted to see princesses... Yep!!! For a nice breakfast out..... Nope!!

Hope this helps

We just ate there on Monday. had a great time. All three DD's (8,7, & 3)had a blast and enjoyed the characters and the food. As far as what is served, there is a "sampling" of danish and muffins to start. Also a fruit plate. If you want more of anything or everything, just ask and they bring what ever you want. They will even bring just ONE fruit...my DD wanted a plate of strawberries alone, and it appeared magically. All the food was good. The bacon could have been a little less greasy, but not a big deal. It is much more relaxed than CRT in our opinion. My hubby said that between the two he would choose PSB next time because aftter going to PSB he felt he would feel very claustrophobic at the castle and the food was better. Plus we've had really really bad experiences with CRT, but that's another very long story....Now, since I've only been home 30 minutes, I really should go to bed!! Have a magical night!!

We ate at all three princess meals (PSB, 1900 Park Fare, and CRT) in April.

We enjoyed PSB very much. The food was danish/fruit to start
followed by the skillet. We were in the first seating of the day so
the food was hot and fresh. Was it 5-star? No - but it was very
good for theme park fare. Our server offered more food as soon
as something was gone from the skillet.

The character interaction was wonderful. We saw Belle, Mulan,
Snow White, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), and Jasmine. Unlike CRT,
the characters were less rushed. Each princess took time to talk and interact with both my DD and the adults. Belle remembered
us later in the day when we saw her with the Beast.

Our CRT experience was very mixed. The castle was beaultiful.
All of the charcters were friendly but you felt they were on a
race - 2 or 3 words, 1 autograph, 1 picture, and they were off!
Our server was awful!!! The meal felt like eating to beat the clock.
We also had the first seating if the morning. Somehow, our food
was only luke warm. Also, be prepared that the kids meal has
different food than the adults - this may not be a big deal for
most children but our daughter likes to try new foods (and often
enjoys them). The server saw me sharing a bite of the cream cheese filled french toast with her - he pointed out that was
the ADULT entree not for the kids.

When we go back this April PSB is a must (for the character variety). We will do CRT if I can get a reservation. If we don't,
it will not be the end of the world!

The food at 1900 Park Fare for dinner was wonderful. Our table was awful (next to the service door - by a family who let their two children have an all out food fight). Cinderella was having an off night - she looks angry in our pictures - maybe the family next to us got to her. The mice (Suzy and Purella) and the Fairy Godmother were excellent. Prince Charming made the meal! He called my daughter princess, the talked for a few moments, and he posed for excellent pictures. We will go back just to see him again. We will do this meal again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed this breakfasr very much last year. The food was good, hot and plentiful.

The characters were GREAT! They were very friendly and funny and really catered to the kids. Belle also remembered us when we met her later with the Beast! I was very impressed.

Where is 1900 Park Fare? Is that at GF? Are you guaranteed Cinderella?

1900 Park Fare is in the GF.

My understanding is that Cinderella is the "hostess" of this dinner
so I would say yes. Last spring which of her "friends" appeared
rotated. Maybe someone has more current info.

The new WDW site states "be a guest of Cinderella herself".

What time were you at the PSB? We were there on the 8th as well at 10am. We sat over towards the left side of the restaurant when you walk in, over by the door where the characters came out:D We had an incredible time and can not wait to go back. My son, yes son, had the most magical moment when he got to see his favorite Mulan:D

dvcfamily-I'm so glad you brought your so. We're going in Feb and my son loves to see the princesses. I was afraid he would be the only boy there.

How funny is that? We were there at the exact same time. For us, as you walk in and go immediately to the left, we were maybe about the 4th table on the left? Just before that side narrows. We were there with our own 3 princesses...my oldest (8) dressed as Mulan. My middle (7) dressed as Belle, and my youngest (3) dressed as Cinderella.

Wish we were back there now...except my youngest picked up the flu, so that's the not fun part now!!

We totally saw you becuase we noticed your little Mulan!! Mulan is my son's favorite so it was a huge deal for us that she was there. She was absolutley wonderful with Matt, we spent a lot of time with her when we saw her at MGM on Wednesday and Friday before we left for the airport. :D

We've been to this breakfast twice and we enjoyed it both times. The food was tastey and hot. The first time we saw Mary Poppins, Belle, Jasmine, Aurora and Snow White. The second time we saw Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, Aurora and Mulan. The princesses were great with our daughter each time and she loved it! The setting/atmosphere was fun and fitting for princesses.

We took lots of great pictures walking from the Epcot entrance to Norway. It was pretty empty so the pictures had no one in the background which is rare. We will definitely do this breakfast again.

I guess I will be a lone decenting vote for the Princess breakfast. We were there the first week of November. Yes, there were all of the princess there (as I recall it was Mary Poppins, Belle, Jasmine, Aurora, Mulan and Snow White) and they spend enough time at our table. That part was great.

We felt the food, however, to be somewhat lacking. None of our family (2 adults, 14 year old, and twin b/g 7 year olds) really enjoyed the food. It's not that it was bad or cold, but just didn't meet the tastes of our kids or my wife. First, it was all piled up in a skillet. None of us like that kind of delivery. Frankly, it makes me feel less interested in the food. Its like lets fill up the bucket, bring it to the table, get the people to eat it and move them on.

The eggs were just eggs. That the kids nibbled at. I was the only one that ate the potatoes. Even I, who eats practically anything, was not that excited by the offerings. The waffles were eaten by the kids, but that was because there was nothing else interested them. Maybe it was the earlyness of the day (we were there when they openned) or as I said, the delivery. Not really sure. We found far better food at the character meals that aren't served as "platter" meals.

Would I go back? For the kids, they really enjoyed the princess. Would I go back for the food. Certainly not. Over all, I would give it °o° °o° °o out of °o° °o° °o° °o° °o°.

Hope that helps someone.

My son is ALL about the princesses. Totally worked to his benefit though, the day we went to the PSB, he got a kiss from Mulan and Princess Aurora on his cheek, then walking around WS we found Snow White who planted one on his forehead, then Jasmine who mentioned that she did not kiss him at breakfast but would kiss him then, then Belle who also mentioned breakfast and gave a kiss on his forehead. Then we went to Animal Kingdom to see Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade and Terk from Tarzan gave him one, as well as one of the girls on stilts in the parade had me hold him up high so she could kiss him as well LOL, as well as EVERY single person that went by the the parade gave him a big thumbs up for all the kisses he had on his face. It was hysterical!:D
