I've been wanting to do this breakfast but keep going back and forth on it and not sure if we should. It will just be me and DH. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE character meals and I figured this would be an excellent time for us to try a new TS and also get to meet all the princesses that are gonna be there. Sure beats waiting in line for an hr waiting to meet them when we could be off and having fun. Has any adults done this meal when its just adults, no kids. Perferably a man and woman. Did you feel weird or out of place? Is the food good? Is it worth the money? I figured it would be worth the money alone to be able to get into Epcot early before everyone else and get some decent shots throughout world showcase and SSE. Any info would be great!

We did this b'fast last summer with our daughters, and while most of the tables did have kids I say go for it!
there was one couple there & they were taking pix with the princesses and all, & actually got alot of attention. Before being seated you have a photo op with a princess & the pix are offered at a price, but worth it if they come out good! The wait was the worst we've experienced yet, over an hour with an ADR, so def. plan on 1st available seating! Food was great too!:)

This is the one ADR my DH requested. DD could take it or leave it but we are going for DH. Now I will say that after this last trip DD is more into princesses than the first time we went in '06 so maybe she will get excited this time. But I think we would go even if we didn't take DD with us.

DH does not mind character meals, he loves Cape May breakfast, CP and had fun at CM but when we did the character breakfast he was shy around the "face" characters. Thanks goodness we took our 2 nieces with us so the Princesses did not really interact with us, just the girls.

I have done the princess breakfast in the castle, but not in Epcot. Although I cannot comment on the food at Epcot I can tell you that the last time i went to the castle breakfast it was just me and my boyfriend (i'm 24, he's 25) and I felt perfectly comfortable. He didnt take pictures with every princess, but I did! And he took one with me and Cinderella because he knows she is my favorite. Its a great experience and no one treated us differently for not bringing kids. Most adults in Disney world are really just big kids anyways;)

I ate here in Feb for breakfast when I was celebrating my birthday. The characters, Belle, Aurora, Snow White, Mulan, and Jasmine, were all very nice to me, and didn't at all treat me like I was out of place for being an adult, and eating alone.

The food here was good. The best item was by far the breakfast potatoes. I completely pigged out on those, and ate almost a whole plateful.

Service was great as well.

I'd put breakfast above lunch. The only thing I prefered when I ate lunch there was the fact that Ariel was there and it was all "real" princesses at lunch. I love Mulan, and she is definatly a leading lady, but she is not a princess.

I'm glad I booked breakfast instead of lunch then, because DD9 would absolutley LOVE to meet Mulan. In fact here's the costume she is wearing to breakfast! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the replies everyone. I think Im gonna squeeze it in somewhere.

DH and I are eating breakfast there in 3 weeks. When I booked the ADR I asked the reservationist if couples go there a lot without kids, she told me yes. I think it will be fun and my husband is all :). Go have a good time.

I worked at Akershus for years and there were always lots of Guests dining there without children. Some prefer not to say much to the princesses and others were just like big kids themselves! I think you will enjoy it if you go and take time to talk to your server too! They are actually from Norway and have lots to tell you if you ask them anything! Have a great time! I miss it there!
