I have a friend that just decided to take her 3 y/o to WDW. They are going April 13th-18th. she got a great rate with a code for Pop Century, and tried to make ressies for CRT, but she missed the 90 day mark by a few days, so of coarse she could not get in. She is going to try the day before to see if there were any cancels, but was wondering where else is a good place to see the princesses? Her DD is already talking about seeing Snow, Cindy, Jasmine, and all the others. They are getting 1 day tix to MK, and not doing any other parks, so the Epcot princess b-fast is out. If anyone knows of any other place in the world to see them, please let me know. Thanks for the help!!!

Some of the pricesses can be found in the park. We met several in Mickey's Toon Town Fair last year (they were 1 of the lines).

There is also a princess dinner at the Grand Floridian (we saw
Suzy, Puerra (mice), Fairy God Mother, Cinderella, and Prince Charming).

I would also suggest checking for cancellations frequently. People's plans change. I would especially check daily for a few days after the April hours come out (people will adjust their plans).

Cinderella is at Toontown for most of the day in the Fairytale Friends room. Lines build up here latter in the day, so it's best to see her when Toontown opens at 10am.

Snow White can often be found at the Skyway Station next to Small World. If the park is busy though, they may be using that area for extra stroller parking for Small World and Peter Pan. If that's the case, she's usually either behind the Christmas Store in Liberty Square or in Town Square at Main Street.

Jasmine can usually be seen near the Magic Carpets of Aladdin attraction in Adventreland.

Belle appears throughout the day in Fairytale Gardens (near the Castle) where she has storytime sessions. After she tells her story, guests are invited to meet-and-greet with her.

Lately, Aurora has been making appearences in Town Square over by Tony's.

Ariel is in her grotto in Fantasyland all day.

Another good spot to look for Princesses is the Expo Hall on Main Street. You can usually find at least two or so Princesses here some time between 11am and 12 or so. They usually do a set or two here after the Castle meal. On my last trip I was lucky enough to find Jasmine, Cruella, Belle, and Wendy back there with no other crowds in sight! Definatly a must for Princess fans.

Hi scanmom--

You might want to tell your friend if she does'nt have any luck getting a CRT ressie to just try and step into the waiting area at CRT and see if you can get in as a walk in. A few years ago I was in the same predicament and we just walked up to the podium and nicely asked if there would be any possibility that we could get in for breakfast and sure enough to our surprise they said let me see what we can do and came back and said we would have to wait a half an hour but that was just fine with us! So you never know. Also she can try calling when she gets to Disney from her resort every day---she may catch a cancellation! Hope this helps:D

I have 2 teenage DD's, and my DS's do not care about the princesses, I have never been with a little girl!! I will let her know your tips!!;)

If your friend stops at Guest Services in MK when she enters the park, she can ask for the characters' schedules. They can tell her who will be where when. When you only have one day, I think that is the best way to do it. No time to just run into a Princess. Of course, she can always keep the info to herself so DD feels like they just came upon one of her favorite Princesses.

I also recommend Belle's Storytime. Check the schedule for times.

Sending pixiedust your friend's way.

Tell your friend to ask anyone at Town Hall where the Princess are supose to be. If they do not know (or wont tell you) call WDW Information line and they WILL tell you. There schedules are not officially posted, but they do have schedules and a CM will tell you when and where the princess's will be.

When I was there last July Cinderella was in Toon Town all day, Ariel was in "Ariel's Grotto" (past the carosouel, straight back), Snow White was in front of town hall around 3:30pm. I saw Aurora and Jasmine in Epcot, but I know they did make several apperances in MK.

They're staying onsite for six days, and just going to MK for one day, no other parks?????

Slightly off topic, but a whole bunch of my friends saw various pictures of the princesses taken from around WDW, DL, TDL. We all agreed that not a single one is good looking. :teeth:

Is it deliberately setup that way so the husbands won't go gaga nor drool over them? Or Disney just can't find anybody good looking? I mean, if they can't find somebody looking like that cartoon character, at least don't use anybody that's fugly (and sometimes bordering scary).

scanmom,
a good alternative to CRT's is the princess breakfast in the Norway pavilion at Epcot. They usually have Snow White, Jasmine, Mulan, Sleeping Beauty, and various others.

I second what Princess Crazy said. Friday morning we had eaten breakfast at our resort before arriving at MK around 9:30. We were trying to decide between CRT and Crystal Palace for lunch, so we went by both to look at the menus. When we were at the castle, the CM at the desk asked if we needed any help, and we said no, that we were just looking at the lunch menu. She then said that if we were interested in having breakfast, there was an opening we could have immediately. I was soooo upset! People knock themselves out trying to get reservations 90 days in advance, and here we are being handed a table, and we can't take it! I know, we could have just had two breakfasts, but that is a lot of money to spend on food that wouldn't really be eaten. So, anyway, try walking up and asking. They may just have a table!

Perhaps they were just bad pictures. Everytime I see any of the Disney face characters in the park, they've always been beautiful.
