Is the Princess plan worth the money? I have a DD8 who will have birthday while we are there.

I am wondering too!
I tried to figure it out based on the pricing from another thread. For 2 adults ($27each) and 1 child ($63) it will cost approx $117.
You get:
* Disney Dollars - $50
* Breakfast - $49.97 or appox $60 if it includes tax/grat($19.99/adult, $9.99/child)

That brings the total to close to $110. I would be willing to pay the extra $7-$10 just to get the seating at the shows.

If I have this figured out wrong - please help me out!
And does the breakfast include the tax/grat?

The breakfast vouchers do include tax and gratuity. I think you can only add the princess package to the dream maker package. I don't think it matters what Disney resort you stay at.

Sorry to be so annoying - I have another question too:

Can you add this on to the 7/5 dream maker package that is out now?

--Tammie :wave:

I think I read that you CANNOT add to the 7/5 package that is out.

One more question.......the preferred seating at the shows, do you have to pay for the shows or are they free?

I called Disney and was able to add the Princess plan to my 7/5 Dream Maker package. For 2 adults and 1 child it only added $104.75 to my cost!
So for $50 disney dollars and $50+tax/grat for breakfast you are probably saving around $5-$10 and getting the show seating.
Not Bad!!

Edited to add:
They only sell so many at a time due to the seating for the shows. You have to call Disney Dining to schedule the times for the shows and you can book them any time - don't have to wait the 90 days out like the restaurants.

binkyj826, do you know if the 7/5 Dream Maker package has expired? I tried to add this to my 7/4 Dream Maker package and was told that I could not add it.

It hasn't expired yet.
Is the 7/4 a Disney Visa package? That might be why.
I would try calling back and getting someone else. The lady I spoke to put me on hold for a while before getting back to me and telling me I could add it. I think she had to check.

Yes, the 7/4 expired at the end of April. I'll try calling again tomorrow to see if I get a different answer.

This is a silly question. I am staying at Saratoda springs on my DVC points. Is this something that is part of a package or can it be added to a room only res. or res. made on points. I would really doubt it but it never hurts to ask.

Thanks for the help,

It is an add-on for the Dream Maker package.

Is the disney dollars $50.00 per child or $25.00??

I thought that it was $25.00 per child. Fifty would be fantastic!!!
thanks

It is $50 per child. I tried posting the link to the Disney page but it didn't work. The cost works out to be around $20+/adult and $60+/child
If you go to Disneyworld.com and in the search field enter "Prince and Princess add on" it will come up and explain exactly what is included and what shows are included in the special seatings.

On a recent trip with Prince and Princess plan, we used our $50 Disney Dollar, character breakfast ($52), Planet Hollywood discount ($25) and collected 2 Disney pins and lanyard ($20). These items total to a little more than we pain for the plan.

We did not use the special seating coupons. These coupons required a PS for each show or arriving 30 minutes prior to the show. We got good seats by simply walking in with the rest of the crowd.

The special seating coupon are only valuable if the park is very busy, or if your prince or princess would like to be chosen to participate in the show.

I *think* that is included in all Dream Maker packages - the Prince/Princess Add-on is the Disney Dollars, Character Breakfast and special seating.

I am so bummed! I tried twice, but I cannot book this with the VISA 7 for 4 deal. The CM I spoke to the second time and her supervisor tried, but the computer just wouldn't take the request for the add-on. I was so looking forward to the special seating. Oh, well!

We booked the princess plan for our trip in July. We thought the special seatings would help since we are going during a busy time of year. I didn't realize we needed ps's for the shows. How would I do this? I am only aware of making ps's for restaurants or dinner shows.:confused:

To make a PS for a show, just call the same number you call for dining reservations. I just tell them I have the princess add-on and need to make PS for ____________ show. I've never had a problem. I did notice some people were saying they had a difficult time getting a PS for the day and time they wanted, so I made mine when I made my 90 day dining reservations.
