We got our package of reservations in the mail today. Yea!!!!! 27 days and counting! But I have one question. On the reserved seating times for the shows I scheduled on the Princess Plan add-on, it said to arrive 30 minutes early for each of the shows. Do I really have to get there that early for a paid, reserved seat? Thanks.

Hey Donna,

I don't know the answer to your question but I will bump your post so that someone who has used the Princess add-ons can help you out.

Ali

I'm beginning to wonder if Ill be the first to use this plan. I don't think I've ever seen a post from anyone who has. Thanks forthe bumps Ali.

We leave Friday morning and have the Princess package. I will post how things went when we return May 11th. I'm so excited I can't sleep. :Pinkbounc

What is the princess add on plan? I have never heard of that.

Is it a per-day cost, or a one-time fee???

I have been planning on calling and adding it to my package...

It is a new package this year. It's actually called the Prince and Princess Plan. Basically you get One character breakfast, $50 Disney Dollars for every child ages 3-9, and reserved seating for, Festival of the Lion King, Pocahantas and friends, Tarzan Rocks,Fights of Wonder, Playhouse Disney and Beauty and the Beast. I think the cost was $63 for children 3-9 and $20 something for adults. I'm not clever enough to post a link but you can read more about it on the Walt Disney World website under 2004 packages.

Cost: $63 per child.

Benefits: $50 Disney Dollars per child.
One Character Brerakfast per child. (value = $8.99 - $9.99)
Special Seating Sections at various shows (does this require a PS? or how is it identified?) Not available in an other package???

So, the special seating section is the one benefit that is not al la- carte? Granted the $50 Disney Dollars would a a special treat fo rthe kids... Now, if they included the special viewing areas for Wishes / parades / illumications, then I would feel it adds value. As it is, I don't know.

Am I missing something?

I can't help with Disney World. But I had prefered seating for the Snow White show in Disneyland last month, and they released the unclaimed seats about 20 minutes before show time - so yes, I would get there about 30 minutes ahead of time. But you might also check the wait time of those shows - Snow White had a 2 show wait - time (that's right, stand by was for the show after the show after next when I got there). During the off-season, you can usually get into Festival of the Lion King and Beauty and the Beast without any problems. So, if it's not real busy, you might not worry too much about making the special time unless your little ones have their hearts set on sitting close.

Have a great trip!
