On a side note please allow me to vent a moment.

For the last 3 days We've been having some "issues" with Morgan. Being who she is she doesn't always listen/understand. I would say typical child. So we've had to deal with alot of not wanting to get ready for school. Let me back up- on Nov 17th I had minor back surgery so I can't lift/bend for another aprox 3 weeks. My sister was here to help the last 2 weeks but is gone now. My mother lives with us but she also had surgery (eye) the same day as me. Ok so neither of us can lift her and she can be stubborn. I've relented and allowed her to take her sippy cup on the bus to school just to keep her quiet-picture raging, screaming child-which is technically "against the rules". So today the bus driver tells my mom (who gets her on the bus) that her para is giving her a "hard time" about her cup. Hello......she is 4, she is special needs. It keeps her quiet and I called the school on Monday and wrote a note on Tuesday to let them know.

But the best (and we think funny) in reading her communication book from school it is noted that Morgan got a time out yesterday. Why you ask. Because she kept sticking out her tongue ok maybe that is not the "adult" response I should have but it was. But it gets better. Last nite before bed Jim (DH) brings her to kiss me goodnite and first asks her about JohnCarlo (called G in school) if she likes him and she burried her head in his shoulder kinda embarrased - it was cute. So then I say "well did you know Morgan got a time out in school today" and then asked Morgan "why did you get a time out" and she sticks out her tongue . We started laughing (I know bad) and then try to stop and say "that is not nice" and went back to laughing.

OK I had to let that out. I'm gonna call the school in a bit. I'm also going to go back 5 years and tell more of our story. Stay tuned

It looks like you did everything right when you posted them. But, you must have moved them into a different album, or renamed the album after you posted the pictures.

So, if you try copying and pasting the code now it should work.

Your children are adorable!
Yes, my husband and I were both 501st members when we met. It was his first troop, and I had joined about a year before with some friends. Not a big SW fan, but I loved the charity aspect of the 501st. It is a huge part of our lives, and I love the pics of the group helping raise money for Team Morgan. That is what the 501st is all about!

so today in the mail was a package for DJ from Jeanne-jham.
He wouldn't get home til 5:00 so of course I was pacing for him to get home. Morgan kept saying "mine" but I had to tell her "for Bobo"(that's what she calls him, Miranda is "sissy") ok so he gets home and we have hid the package. I go to get my camera only to have dead batteries. Miranda and Morgan are waiting for me & DJ, then Morgan gets the package too soon and we have to have her put it back. Ok ready to go, camera ready, Morgan ready, DJ herded into living room suspicious.

Morgan got a B-day card from Build a Bear so she wanted me to take a pic of her with it.

Jeanne, Thank you so much. He has yet to take it off but I told him I want him to save it for the trip. He wears a Star Wars shirt almost EVERYDAY (as you can see in the pics) I keep looking at the workmanship and it is so amazing. Please tell Luke the card was wonderful and I love his name. How many times does he hear "I'm not your father"?

From what I read about the Big Give I'm sure this is just the beginning and I'm sure I will shed more tears from all the kindness of strangers.

Wow! That got there fast! I just mailed it Monday! I'm glad Dustin likes it! And tell him thanks for the idea of a Stormtrooper shirt! Now my boys want them too! Luke wanted me to show you a couple of pictures of him last year at Disneyland

Time for a quick update:
Saturday was a busy day for us. DJ had to attend a Lego League Competition for school - meaning up at 6am pick up his friend (never rely on a child for directions) get them to the school 1/2 hr away. Back home to get Morgan ready (ok Miranda did that for me)for a Birthday party that my sister graciously took responsibility of bringing her to at Build a Bear. They had to leave a little after 9am. Then Me, Jim & Miranda headed over to the Aqua Turf (well known banquet hall in town) to help support the Childrens Christmas Party in Star Wars costume (ok I lied, Miranda dressed up but me & Jim unfortunately couldn't, but, we did talk to lots of people about our group-pic soon on this) And the best part........I got to meet JohnCarlo ("G" to Morgan) which I posted about before. I met his family and talked to his mom who said he comes home and will talk about Morgan. He even told his mom how he told Morgan she was pretty when she had her cast off So nice to know someone talks to her even though she doesn't talk back. And he's cute So much to that story but don't have lots of time.

Ok so then we come home with some members of our group (CTG- www.connsquad.com ) who helped out- to hang out, eat, play RockBand etc... then the mail comes...... I apologize for the pic quality they were from Miranda's camera

Hannah, Sophee & of course Aimee (aimeeg) THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH.
As you can see we didn't try on the T-shirt but, I know it will fit. This dress is soooooo perfect. It fits wonderfully and I can't believe it is Einsteins. She was picking out all the characters. I LOVE IT and so does Morgan. We had about 6 people over when we opened the pkg and I got to tell them all about the Big Give. They were as amazed as I was about the generosity of strangers.

Right after this I started playing vocals on RockBand and Morgan helped. I don't know where those pics are however. Then she sang by herself and I don't know how but she got 100% She did Laid to Rest by Lamb of God. I have pics of the screen. It's one of the songs where you don't have to worry about pitch and stuff but it was so funny to see her getting excellent.

I've done more then a quick update. There is more from Monday but I have to head to the dr. (I'm gonna be late but oh well)

I'll be back later to update the rest. and it's more surprises in the mail!!!!!

Thanks for the pictures!!! We LOVE to see the picturse!!!!! We were talking about it on the Big Give board the other day, that our favorite thank you is pictures of the kids opening the packages!!!!

Yeah !!!! I am so happy that Morgan likes her dress and that it FITS! Hannah and Morgan are about the same size so I was hopeful. Hannah is three months younger than Morgan. She was really excited to help me and was so disappointed that we were not going to meet you all in WDW. She had a compelling argument for a vacation but it was not in the cards!

Have a wonderful trip and I wish nothing but the best for your family. I am so happy Morgan likes her dress.
