Is there a wait list? Can you get tickets on the ship? It appears all options on the Dec 3rd sailing is booked. I was able to get Elsa and Anna tickets and a character breakfast (at 9:45 AM, almost lunch for my kids!), but the princess is sold out for the week.

there are always tickets available when you first board the ship - check out the navigator in the cruise terminal and it will direct you to the time and place once you board to get tickets.

Do you know this to be true since the inception of the prebookings?

Yes, you may get tickets when you first board. There is also a waitlist.

I overheard an angry dad at Guest Services saying he couldn't get tix and didn't know how-- their official talking points were that he could have done so ahead of time online, that some are held back for onboard booking, and there is a waitlist which he was ultimately added to.

We met the two princesses we were really interested in prior to the event we had tix for. I cancelled our reservation at Guest Services and they said I would now make some other Guest's day to get off the waitlist.

Good luck!

Just adding that I've heard from several that while the M&G is nice you do get a chance to see the princesses at other times, but it's Anna and Elsa who just have that one appearance. So be happy about that one. If by any chance you aren't able to get tickets perhaps you can plan something fun away from where it will be happening so you don't have to worry about tears if they see it and can't get in line. Putt putt, a movie, or ice cream for lunch. ;)

My online booking begins soon. Do you book all your princess meet and greets ahead of time? What about other characters?

You can book the Princess meet and greet (unknown exactly which princesses) and the Frozen meet and greet (Anna and Elsa; sometimes it also includes Olaf) when your online booking window opens.

We sailed in September and had tickets; however, while in line I overheard the CM telling a woman she could get into the line because they had a ton of no-shows. When I was finished with the M&G, I asked him about it and he said that probably half of the ticketed passengers did not show up. If you can't get tickets online or on the ship, try this. We did sail during their low season so I'm not sure if this would work on busier cruises, but it wouldn't hurt to try.
