I was just wondering if what people think of the princess storytime lunch in world showcase....I was very surprised to have to put it on my credit card. Is it that good????? :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy:

You mean you were surprised about the deposit? Yes, they do take deposits for all the princess meals except 1900 Park I believe. The food in my opinion is not good at all, but seeing all the princesses is really what you are paying for and that is priceless if you have a little princess of your own.

Have fun!

I (actually all six of us!) wouldn't recommend PSB in Norway either. We did it in May, the food was not good at all. The princesses were very rushed . . . on a positive note: the restaurant was beautiful!!! We didn't have to leave a deposit for this breakfast, only a credit card number in case you didn't show up.

CRT charged $10 per adult and $5 per child at the time of booking. CRT breakfast was MUCH BETTER!!! princess:

I did the breakfast last dec and didn't like the food. DD liked the eggs and Ds doens't eat much anyone unless its chicken nuggets or cereal(whis they didn't have. I really think everyplace that serves breakfast should have the small boxes of cereal). but we really went for the princesses.
That they loved. The princesses were very nice and spent alot of time w my children. Great pictures. My son was Alladin and my daughter Jasmine.
Jasmine the actual princess spent so much time w my son.. just too too cute
Anyway we booked the lunch for our Oct trip.
again not expecting much in food, but the main reason is the princesses. Disney knows this.
we are also doing the CRT breakfast the same trip too. Love those princesses.

We did lunch in May and had a great time as far as the food goes remember you are in "Norway" so the food won't be the usual American type of stuff. The girls ate all of their appetizer plates (trail mix, cheeses and ham I think?) and there entrees (Spaghetti, and grilled chicken ) were good too. We had salmon and the Pasta DH loved the salmon and I thought Pasta was good too. The dessert plate (rice cream with strawberries, chocolate mousse, and little bars with a sweet crust cherry? filling and nuts)was excellent!! The best part - the Princesses we saw Cinderella, Jasmine, Aurora, Belle, and Ariel They all signed autographs for both girls and took pictures- I did not expect more than that-. You don't have to pay by CC when you are there.
This was our first Princess meal and we really enjoyed it! :sunny:

Okay, I have to know...
Do people not like the Akershus food because it is "unusual" or because it truly stinks? We are very adventurous eaters, within reason, and the menu looks GREAT to us. We are planning on trying it in November. We are also planning to try Boma, and that menu looks FANTASTIC!!! I've seen a lot of negative reviews, though, and I can't figure out if people are just turned off by the novelty, or what? :confused3
Personally, when we see a menu that has burgers, pizza, etc. we just say, "Pass!" :teeth:

we're with you! we're (esp dh) looking forward to this lunch *because* it will be something different... and if my kids don't like any of the offerings (after trying them, not after just reading about them on the menu!) we'll just grab them something at the bakery or a hot dog in the american pavillion...

I really enjoyed the smoked whitefish and different cheeses on the app. plate, the food was a little different, but quit enjoyable. It's a nice time if you don't expect too much. Nice princess's.
