Princess Half

I'm rooting around old threads, but how much is the registration fee for the Princess half? I'm trying to get a group of friends to sign up and head down with me for 2013.

My guess is that it will be between $150 and $200, depending on when you sign up. The closer you get to the date, the more money it is.

I am pretty sure we paid $165 plus the Active fee for this year's race. However, if you have the Disney Visa card, they offer early registration with a reduced price for many of the races and that can save you around $15.

I signed up last year about a week after registration opened. I'm pretty sure I paid $150 + the active.com fee. Hope you and your friends can make it. It is such a fun race.

I paid $128.30 to register for the 2011 Princess Half. I'm sure I used the Disney Visa discount, but it doesn't say for sure on my receipt. The fee seems to go up $5-$10 every year. The fee for the WDW Half this year is $150 so the Princess will probably be about that price.

Keep an eye out for that Disney Visa discount, as others have said. The link seems to work even if you don't have a Disney Visa. And as time goes on, the registration price will increase...so to save the most money you'll want to sign up quickly and use the Disney Visa discount link.

I'd love to be able to do the Princess 1/2 in 2013. Hoping I can find a friend or two to do it with me. We're taking our kids of our school for our Disney trip in October, so we wouldn't be able to take them out again in February to go back to Disney. I think it would be such a fun girls trip!

Definately an awesome way to spend a girls weekend! I went with my family last year and they were such downers. This year I'm going with the girls and can't wait!

Regarding the Disney VISA discount...where do yall get this? I don't get information or bills mailed to me anymore, so I miss out on a lot of promotions (I think). I definitely don't want to miss that discount when it comes out. Also, my Aunt and I will be doing the 5k that same weekend...any idea what the cost would be there and if there is a discount for it too?

The Disney Visa is available through Chase Bank. I got mine last year when I was targeted for a special promotion, a $200 Disney gift card after your first purchase. It was a wonderful surprise and paid for my park ticket when I ran the DL half. If you google Chase Disney, I think the current promotion is a $100 gift card. Not a bad deal. I registered for Goofy 2013 with a nice discount ($30, I think) by using the card. It is worth it if you go to WDW or DL a few times per year.

Angie, if you go to the Chase website where you get your account info I think on the side there is a link for the promotions. Sometimes I get e-mails, but not always so I usually check it when I pay my bill. Hope that helps.

I don't think they normally offer a discount on the 5K races, but I would guess the 5K will be about $50-$60 (basing that purely off of how much registration is for the the WDW Marathon Weekend 5K).
