Princess half pre-reg

Anyone have any word if DVC/AP/Visa will get pre-reg for the Princess? And when does it open?

Usually DVC and AP holders will be allowed advance registration one week before the race registration opens to the public. I typically use the DVC link (log into your DVC account for link) and the discount code for $10 off registration fee (discount not valid for 5K).

Yep, just wondering if anyone knew for sure that it would be offered, and if it was opening on the 8th.

I waffled on the Rebel Challenge and had to do the lottery with everyone else (got in because I hit the website at 12:01, and I was like 90th in the queue.)

Since I'm in for the Challenge this is my year to get my C2C. So I HAVE to be in the Glass Slipper Challenge. (yes I know I just need the princess 1/2, but I figure it's better to get 7 medals out of it.)

For several races in a row DVC especially has NOT been told if it will have early registration. In fact people have been told "no" by CMs who just don't know and shouldn't be guessing.

Know where the DVC/rundisney registration page is on the DVC site. Know how to navigate it quickly. Have all of your stuff ready. At noon eastern time the week before (or check out the W.I.S.H. Events/Competitions pages here for a more accurate date) go to DVC, log in, navigate to that page, and see.

Visa has been weird that last few races from what I recall from reading on the W.I.S.H. pages. Not sure they've had any early reg or not, and some people can't figure out what to put to get the discount.

I have to say it's bogus that the 3 races they show under special offers right now are all full (no slots left for DVC or not).

Marathon, Wine&Dine, and Star Wars.

On the other hand, you are now an expert at navigating to that page.

I'm not sure it's so much bogus, but just an oversight. They don't think about the page until 2 minutes before registration time. At that point they start switching it over so it is (hopefully) ready to go when people navigate there, sign in, and register.

It's how it has been since I signed up for the Wine And Dine, which was however many months ago, and I'm pretty sure it was that way when I signed up for THIS year's WDW Half... They just neglect the page until it's time to change it.

i was hoping to do the glass slipper challenge and it was sold out before i got through. today was obviously the early registration (i'm an AP holder), does anyone know if they release more numbers when registration is open to the general public or should i just give up now and pick one of the other races?

Well I started the thread about pre/early reg.

Also if you did reg but the DVC discount didn't show apply right just use the run Disney help link and send them you reg number and DVC number and they will fix it.
