I'm really excited about some of the Princess Grand Welcome Things that I made for someone that wanted to do a "Princess Grand Welcome" instead of the Mickey Grand Welcome. I thought I would let you know that I posted a Welcome Banner, Welcome Letter and Gift Tag all from "The Disney Princesses" in my 4shared file in the link in my signature then look in "Mickeys Grand Welcome" file. But what I'm really excited and have worked on for a couple of hours is the "Princess Proclamation". Here is an example of one that I made and you can make one for your little princess too!!! To make this you will need to download a font from www.dafont.com called Dearest. Here is a link to the font:

OR you can use any fancy font that you may already have on your computer.
Then you will need to download the blank "Princess Proclamation" and "Princess Royal Seal" from my 4shared file in the "Mickeys Grand Welcome" file. Next you will need to insert a textbox in MS Word or use whatever editing program that you usually use to add things to blank DISigns so that you can add the name. Here is a link that teaches you how to add a textbox using MS Word just in case you have it and don't know how:

Once you have added the name print off the "proclamation" and the seal and trim the white from both. Then you will need to get a ribbon and place it under the seal and use double sided tape to attach the ribbon (any color will work...but I think the pink goes with the rest of the things I made for the princess welcome) and seal to the proclamation. I figured the 3-d look would make it more authentic. The proclamation is great to include with the "Princess Grand Welcome", for the BBB makeover or even princess birthday parties. Here is an example of the finished product...THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE...THERE IS A BLANK PROCLAMATION IN MY 4SHARED FILE in the link in my signature:
Here are the three ways to personalize the blank proclamation in my 4shared file:
1. Get the blank proclamation form my 4shared file, then print the proclamation and hand write (calligraphy is the best!) to add the names...this is super easy and very doable for even the most computer challenged person. This is how a lot of certificates, proclamations and decrees are done and could lend to the authenticity of the proclamation!
2. Insert a textbox over the letter...here is a link for how to do that if you have MS Word. I posted a link to the font that I used in the second paragraph at the top:

3. The third way is the same way that you would add information to a blank invitation that you purchase online or at a store. First print the blank proclamation on 8.5x11 paper. Then use a ruler to determine approximately where the name will go on the letter. Open up MS Word, Works or whatever Word Processing Program you use. Then type and center the name on the paper. If you don't change the size of the proclamation from its original 7.38 x 5.99 inches the first name should start around 4.5 inches down from the top including the top margin and the second name will start around 5.5 inches from the top including the top margin. Then run a trial print on a scratch piece of paper. Hold the scratch piece of paper over the letter to make sure that the names line up correctly on the finished proclamation. If it doesn't line up correctly...move the names up or down. If it does line up correctly...print the name on the letter.
If you want to make the seal look more authentic...use a bone folder or similar tool to mark around the castle and other images on the seal to give them a raised look and feel. Hope that makes sense!
