Princess Gabby's Surprise First Trip to "Where the Princesses Live"

Couple of questions: Do you know if you can pay for dinner at the places I have ADRs..Specifically Narcoossee(wow they have alot of vowels!!LOL) because I want to be able to give my parents a GC for their dinner

Also has anyone been on a trip with just them and a child?It is going to be just me and Baby Girl together in most of the parks and I am worried that I won't get pictures of both of us togehter.

I think you can use gift cards anywhere. You could always call disney and check.

I've never gone alone, but the photopass photographers will also take pictures with your camera...we've never actually gotten the photopass pictures, but they've taken some great ones with our camera! Plus, if you only like a few of the pictures, you can order individual ones off the photopass website. And, there's always kind strangers to take your picture for you!

I know!!but I am always afraid that someone is going to drop my camera or worse run away with it!!Any my camera is a very inexpensive one but I can't shake that feeling...I am nuts you can go ahead and say it I know it!!

Just do a trade off. You offer to take someones picture for them in exchange for them taking your picture. And then if they run off with your camera, you will still have theirs and hopefully it will be a more expensive model.

Oh my gosh! I absolutely love love love the autograph book. I'm trying to remember which characters we have gotten autographs from on a regular basis. I know that we've met Frozon, Buzz Lightyear and Woody several times.

Did they have a Flik and, what's his name......the little monkey from Tarzan.....gosh, what's his name? Shoot! Maybe you'll remember his name. WAIT! It's Terk. We've seen those two at Animal Kingdom before.

Anyway, I love the book and wish Hunter was still young enough to not be embarassed by something that he now would consider girly.

I thought about Frozon and Buzz..I need to find a sneaky way to ask her about them... Can you think of anyone that I have one there that is not really out or anyone else that I need to add?

It looks awesome. Just food for thought. When I was married, I took my stepson to Disney for his 8th Birthday. He had an autograph book. The only thing I wish we had done different was to leave a blank page across from each autograph to allow for a picture of him with the character he got the autograph from. Not sure if you planned this already or not.

Your folks will love Narcoossees. It is one of my favorite restaurants. The crab crusted halibut is delicous if you like seafood.

I couldn't get a ressie there for March, but will be eating there with Mom and Dad.

I was thinking of you when I took my kids on the 15 minute walk to the playground. It's a long walk, my mind tends to wander! I was thinking about the camera thing, that you can get people to take your picture when you're waiting in line for a ride. It would be awfully hard to run when you're stuck in the middle of one of those queues!

Hey Pam!! I thought about the pictures but I digital scrapbook so I am going to have plenty of things to do with her pic and will probably scan the siggie to use for those pages.
I really hope they like the rest. My mom is allergic to shellfish so I think there are plenty other things she can pick..

So I have been talking to BAby Girl about Disney..because she has been asking about going- I think seeing the GAD commercials has her asking. Anyway I have been telling her that if she does not get red in school (they have 3 colors for behavior red,green,blue yellow and red is not good) sleeps in her OWN bed ALL night, and be a good listener then MAYBE I will THINK about going to Disney..
So I have been using that opening to talk to her about Disney and if we went what we would do.. So last night I talked her about the autograph book..the convo went something like this

IF we went to Disney who would you want to get an autograph from?
What is an autograph?
A signature...
What is a Signature?
You know when you are always telling people to "SIGN" the paper, that is their signature..
OHHHH Well Why can't I just say..WRITE your name on here????
SIGH
The she proceeds to laugh like she has told the best joke in the world

So she says that she does not want to get the Stepsisters' because they are mean, she also does not want Frozone,Buzz, or Woody or little Einstiens..
So I am thinking of canceling the HollyWood and Vine ADR.

Tonight I have to get the rest of the stuff for our GAD project
Saturday We have to make the lunches for our GAD(making bag lunches for the homeless) and deliver them then I am going out with my girls for my girlfriend's bday
Sunday Gabby has a birthday party to go to at Chuckee Cheese

Maybe you will have to cancel hollywood & vine, if she doesn't want to see the little einsteins. When are they going to change that, anyway? Isn't JoJo's circus really outdated at this point?

Hey!Thanks for the comps on the book..I was going to put it together based on who "goes together" like Tiana with Naveen..but then the dilema was does that go under T,N, or P(princess) so I just did it that way!
I am thinking about canceling H&V and just get CS that day I have no idea why they have not changed it yet. Disney tends not to change things fast if they are working..my guess is that H&V still gets alot of ressies so they see no point in changing it
