Princess Dresses for AG Doll???

Someone told me that Disney sells Princess dresses that with fit AG dolls? Is this correct? and if so where at in Disney do they sell them?... Thanks

I saw them at just about every store we went in! The Emporium on Main St. had the best selection though. They had all the princesses and even Minnie's dress. They are supposed to be for the My Disney Doll, but they fit the American Girl Doll's just fine. They run about $25.00 and come with accessories like crowns, shoes, and wands. Very cute!

The dresses fit the newer AG Dolls, but if you have the collectible ones (pre-Mattel buyout) then the dresses are a little snug. I guess Mattel put the girls on a diet...

too funny. I have two older ones from my childhood and my DD is still in the Bitty Baby faze, but it won't be long and I'll be joining u guys in buying these!

Yes, the newer dolls are a little "slimmer." DD's older AG can't even fit into the newer AG clothes.

Also - I've heard that Ariel's costume is a tight squeeze.

The only difference between Bitty and 18-inch AGs is the height. AGs can wear Bitty pants, but they look like capris. Likewise, AG pants will be a little long for Bitty. Other than that, most are interchangeable, including all dresses.

Build-a Bear used to have some Disney outfits on their website. Don't know how they'd fit an AG doll though!

Sorry. The only other place I've seen them is on ebay.

As for Build-a-Bear, in general their clothes are much wider and don't fit AGs very well. HTH.

Some friends just picked up Ariel's costume for DD's Disney Girl Doll. It is so cute. These outfits will fit any 18 inch size doll. I think WDW is the only place to get them besides ebay. On ebay they are running around $50.00. As mentioned before, they are $25.00 at the Emporium.

I bought my DD's off of ebay. I think these can only be purchased at WDW. However, try the Disney Store on-line also for the doll.

check out my post about the dolls from a few weeks ago. You can try to call and they may still have them. Do me a favor if you call, let me know is they have any princess outfits, she said they get them in sometimes.

You can also call WDW and order anything they sell in the parks. I know I have seen the phone number listed on here before but I do not know it. I would think the main WDW number would be able to direct you.

DD chose the Minnie outfit for her souvie when we were there. It is so darn cute and does fit her AG of Today doll. The undies are a little tight(but sooo cute--they have Minnie on them!!) And the headband does not fit.

I appreciate the suggestion. I just called today and they do not have any dolls or outfits left. So I guess I am out of luck.
