Princess dress/costume for a tall 9 yr old

My daughter is wanting to have a Cinderella dress for when she goes to Bibbidy Bobbidy later this year. I'm having trouble finding one in her size, and am wondering if anyone can make a recommendation. She's a big 9 year old (around 5') and wears a girls size 14/16. From what I've seen, it looks like the girls princess dresses top out around size 10.

I thought about trying an adult dress, but thought that might be a little too big since most of those seem to be "one size".

Any help appreciated.

I was not able to find anything in the 14/16 range for my DD last year for BBB. The adult sizes were all way too big and the children's sizes way too small.

We ended up doing a HSM cheerleading type jumper for her that worked out well.

You could look to have something custom made to her measurements though.

I would try ebay and etsy for custom made deresses. That way she can have one that fits exactly as it should, and some of them cost no more than the dresses in the parks.

We found the XL size from My Dress Up Trunk (seller name) on eBay was larger than any size we could find in a Disney store or elsewhere. I know she wore it before she was nine - I think she fit into when she was 7, only it was really big. I have bought several things from them and they are really good. I am sure they will tell you what their XL size corresponds to.

I read somewhere either on these boards on on-line that you can call the BBB and have it ordered and waiting for you when you get there. Don't know if it's true or not, but I say it's worth a phone call?

Thanks for all the advice. I've got feelers our to a few sellers on etsy as well as an automated search on ebay. Hopefully we'll find something.
