We called to book the dinner at Ariel's Grotto for 9/2 and they only had one spot left for the whole day. Does the lunch/dinner usually totally book up in advance or this an indication that it's going to be really busy at the parks that day? Just trying to gauge what to expect. Thanks!

How many in your group? We had a similar problem for Sept. 15 for our group of 7. The only time they had for dinner was 3:40. Maybe it's because DCA closes at 6 when we are there? I think the last seating is at least an hour before closing.

We have 5 in our group so maybe that's why. I hand't even thought of that! Maybe most of the tables are set up for 4.

I was also told we have 90 minutes to stay and eat/visit with the characters. I'm wondering if the last seating they offer is 90 minutes before closing (4:30). That could also be why they book so quickly.
