We are going to be at WDW this Sept for 12 nights. Our party consists of DH, myself, DD3, and DS10months. We are hoping to get in as much princess dining as we can.

We were planning on doing 1900 Park Fare B& D, and Akershus B.

Can anyone comment on the following:
1) Are there a lot of princesses at 1900 Park Fare B & D?
2) Should we consider doing CRT and if so, do they all have some princesses at each, even dinner? We would prefer to go there for the dinner.
3) Which meal, other than CRT, would you recommend we do after our DD goes to BBB?

I know that each restaurant does not guarantee which princesses are there, but it would be really disappointing for us to attend one of these meals and find no princesses at all and other characters instead.

One more non-princess question. Our DS already loves Winnie the Pooh (at 11 wks). Is CP the only place that has these characters?

1) 1900 park fare ONLY has Cinderella & Prince Charming & the step-mom & step-sisters at the DINNER time slot. The breakfast time slot (aka Supercalifragilistic breakfast) is Mary Poppins, Mad Hatter, Alice in Wonderland, and a few other possible random folks (I had a client say they got tigger & piglet, and NOT Mary Poppins :scared1: I'll be in trouble this March if we don't see Mary!!!)

2) CRT only has multi princesses at breakfast & lunch. Dinner is the fairy godmother & some mice.

3) If you don't do CRT, then do it before Akershus. Here, you get 5 princesses, and a picture (free) at check in with one of them (ours was Belle). This is similar to the CRT meal, but you only pay 1 TS credit for it while on the DDP. Our princesses included Belle at checkin, Aerial, Cinderella, Jasmin, and Aurora. I had hoped for Snow White rather than Cindy, because we did 1900 Park Fare for dinner, and saw a BEAUTIFUL Cinderella there.

I believe CP is the only place to guarentee to see Pooh at a character meal.

I've read that CRT will be changing their lunch/dinner to include several princess instead of just the fairy godmother and mice as it has previously been. I think the change goes into effect early February.

Have fun with your princess meals. I think we are doing CRT lunch and 1900 Park Faire dinner this year. Last year we did CRT dinner and Akershus breakfast.

1900 Park Fare breakfast has Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh & Tigger. We went there in Sept. So you can see Pooh & Tigger there, not just at Crystal Palace.

I would recommend CRT after BBB. I know you said besides that, but to me there is no substitue. As a previous poster said, there is a rumor that starting in Feb, dinner will have the princesses.

We went to Akershus & CRT. At Akershus we saw, Belle greeting in yellow dress, Ariel, Snow White, Aurora & Cinderella. I think that's becoming more of the standard princesses, but it can change. CRT we had Cinderella greeting, Belle in blue dress, Jasmine, Snow White & Aurora. Both were great.

As a previous poster said, 1900 Park Fare only has Cinderella as the princess. The Stepmother, stepsisters & Prince Charming are there.

So there are no princesses at 1900 Park Fare Breakfast and only Cinderella at dinner? I was under the assumption that the princesses were there.
I had really wanted to avoid Akershus at lunch or dinner as we really did not like the food.
If there was to be a change to CRT lunch/dinner will there be an announcement about it? If I do CRT dinner as of right now, Cinderella isn't even there?

CRT lunch has the princesses, as does breakfast. Dinner at CRT has Cinderella greeting and a picture with her. Currently, it has the fairy godmother & the girl mice.

People like Akershus breakfast. It is normal American breakfast so that could be an option. Akershus includes a picture with Belle and CRT includes a picture with Cinderella at all 3 meals.

You are correct, no princesses at 1900 Park Fare for breakfast & only Cinderella at dinner.

Actually, Cinderella is at the dinner. I was told by the ressie lady that all the princesses are currently at breakfast AND lunch. It is supposed to change February 7th for all the princesses to be at dinner. Since you aren't going until Sept., you are definitely fine :)

This is CRT right?

This is CRT right?

I will answer for her in case she does not see the post - yes, it is for CRT. Starting in Feb several princesses will be there for each meal. Usually Cinderella is in the foyer for pictures and the other princesses come around to the tables during the meal.

At Akershus we saw Belle, Snow White, Jasmin, Aurora, and Mulan. Mary Poppins was outside of the restaurant, and Belle was at the entrance having pictures made as you checked in. That was the only princess meal we did, this time we are going to 1900 Park fare for breakfast and dinner so that we can FINALLY meet Cinderella. It would be nice if Pooh was there as well, but I was told by the lady making my ADR that the Pooh characters would not be seen until Crystal Palace reopened?

I recommend 1900 PF (not for the food-that is mediocore) but the Princess interaction with Cinderalla was great. She spent so much time at our table, and during the "dance" with Prince Charming, she came over and took my daughters hand and danced with her. It was so sweet. And the step sisters are absolutely hysterical!

CRT(Castle) is a definate must!!! We really enjoyed dinner there and since they are adding the princesses to the dinner, we are going to attend.

1900 Park Fare (we had done breakfast & dinner) we really enjoyed and dd8 requested to go back for breakfast so she can see Alice and the Mad Hatter. The Stepsisters were SO funny at dinner!!!

Akershus Storybook Princess (did lunch and dinner) not crazy about food for lunch or dinner, but would definately do breakfast! There are TONS of princesses and you get the free photo with the princess (we had Belle one year and Ariel the next).

Crystal Palace - A definate DO for us each trip...no matter which meal you choose it is sure to satisfy and Pooh & the gange are wonderful!!!! They do a parade with the kids around the restaurant which is SO fun.

If your daughter likes Lilo & Stitch...Ohana is a great breakfast too! My dd8 loves the pineapple bread. :rotfl:

Cape May Cafe Character Breakfast get you Minne, Mickey & the gang...only drawback is getting there from non-boardwalk resorts. It was the most relaxing character meal with yummy food.

Chef Mickey...good food with Minnie, Mickey & gang. A little hectic at times...controlled chaos maybe???:rotfl: My daughter likes this one too (but she likes ALL of them!:lmao:)

Hope this rundown helps a bit...let us know what you choose.
