Princess Caitlin pre trip August '10 costarring dawnbu40

Thank you!
Switching everything turned out to be a bigger hassle than I planned on :sad2: and left me feeling rather frustrated.:headache: It is all switched around though and I'm REALLY hoping it's worth the trouble we went through yesterday!

It wil be my friend...of that I promise you!!! What did you end up booking, studio or 1 bedroom?

I'm sorry Dawn, I am bad at pre-mature posting...I just noticed you already answered the studio or 1 bedroom question.....:rolleyes1

The studio will be fine for the 3 of you!

Thanks Mary Ellen! The pictures are beautiful! Usually when we have a trip approaching I'm all excited about the parks. This time I can't wait to get to the resorts! :yay: BW and SS are going to be wonderful!

We are now up to Thursday, Sept.2 in our trip plans. We will be waking up at SSR for the first time and heading out to the park bright and early! Which park? The original park, The Magic Kingdom! :cool1: This will be our first time to the MK this trip! Usually we head to MK early in our trip but it made sense to put it off since we should do Epcot and DHS while we're staying in that area. So here are the plans...

It's early EMH at MK that day so I hope to be at the bus stop by 7:30 so we can be at the MK for the 8am opening! While Caitlin and Dale head off to Space Mountain, I plan to stop in the Main St Bakery and get some of those cinnamon buns, that everyone on the Dis raves about, for our breakfast.

We'll then tour Fantasyland before it starts getting crowded. I will miss IASW since it will be down for a rehab but my family is relieved to be able to skip it this one and only time

After Fantasyland. we'll stop and pay a visit to those 999 ghosts which is Caitlin's favorite ride. We'll probably bypass HOP since Dale saw it in Sept and Caitlin and I did it in March. Even though it's vastly improved it is not (IMO) a must-do for every trip.

Next up will probably be the Frontierland Mountains. We loved Splash Mtn and enjoy singing along. (we don't enjoy walking around wet though and we're usually THOSE PEOPLE with the ponchos :rotfl2:) We also love BTMRR which is another must-do. (I'll be sure to hang onto my glasses though since I lost them here one time :sad2:)

After the mountains I'm pretty sure Capt Jack Sparrow will be calling out for us to pay him a visit, or 2. We love POC!

For lunch we will eat at Columbia Harbor House. After lunch we will probably go back to the resort for some pool time.

After cooling off in the pool we will head back to the MK around 4pm. We will take the monorail from the MK to the Poly for dinner at 'Ohana! :dance3:
We have a 5:00 adr for Ohana and I can't wait for that dessert! :yay: That bread pudding is tops on my favorites list for WDW food!

After enjoying a wonderful meal with our cousins, we'll head back to the MK. We will visit any rides we missed earlier and I'm sure we'll ride HM again. We're looking forward to seeing Spectromagic that evening since we haven't caught in a couple years. We'll close the day out with Wishes :goodvibes

I would pick those cinnamon buns over SM anyday:lmao:

Love the plans for the day....O'Hana....bread pudding ....:cloud9: what else can I say:thumbsup2

Great Day 2 plans!!!!!!!

CCH and Ohana....mmmmm........can you believe I've never eaten at Ohana in 15 trips....

You must try Ohana! Besides having an amazing dessert, I also love the noodles, chicken wings, salad and steak! It's a great meal and of course the atmosphere of the Poly is just an added bonus :goodvibes

YAY for staying at SSR!!! That's where we are staying too in August. It's our home resort but haven't stayed there for several trips since we've been trying out the other DVC resorts. Can't wait to go back!

Thanks! So do you have any tips or suggestions about SSR for us?

I just noticed my TICKER!!

2 months from today we check into the Boardwalk! :dance3:

Real life update....our aspiring actress is working on her second movie today. When she signed with the casting agency, a few months ago, she was immediately told she'd be working on a "Zombie" movie playing a highschool girl. (a step up from the middle schooler in the other movie ) Well they start filming today at a local highschool about 20 minutes away. It turns out the "Zombie" movie was actually "Scream 4" :scared1: and she'll be a classmate of Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere. She'll definitely get 2 full days on this movie but she's hoping it goes longer. Hopefully she"ll enjoy this movie as much as she did the other :)
