Congrats Catlin on booking the Segway class , sounds like it will be a lot of fun for you & the family both ! I would probably be just like your Mom and do the picture taking , not to much on the Segway or drinking . lol

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will keep Town-hall & Toontown open just a bit longer also . If and when we do book our trip I was planning for the dates to be September 2-5 or 2-7 2010 . It would be nice to see everything one last time before the changes . I am still very excited for everything to change though too !

A Muppet's refurb sounds great to me , I do love that show either way ,it's one of the classics !

Okay, can I just say..that would be soooo AWESOME! Sorry, I'll contain my excitement now Seriously, we would love that but I completely understand the tax situation. I have to admit, I am bummed about the scaffolding around the Castle, I had read about it a couple of weeks ago. I wish they were doing the backside while we were there instead of the front. That being said, the trip will be wonderful regardless, and I'm hoping we'll still be able to see the front somewhat? I just don't know. Now..ermm..when do you get your taxes done?

Caitlin and I are both really excited about the idea of March and we would love to meet up with you two! As soon as Dale's W2's are available I will be doing our taxes! Everyday I ask him to see if they are available yet Since I do them myself they will get done fast and we can get the return deposited within 2 weeks. (but as soon as I know how much $ to expect I will be figuring out the trip )

A little late to this party but I am subbing in now. I read one of you past TRs and Caitlin's dining review so I had to join in. So, Hi!! Also super excited to hear about the WW of HP. I don't think it will be open yet when we go.

Also big thanks to you gals for making the blankets for the Linus project. I work at a children's hospital and love seeing some of "our" babies with these blankets, especially the knitted ones. Very sweet of you.

I saw some recent pictures and there is already a big crane behind the castle but I read they take it down at night for Wishes. It said they are taking down the lights and then they have to repaint/refurb a lot of the "bricks". So I'm afraid the castle might not be as pretty as usual in your pics. But there are supposed to be some angles you can shoot from and avoid the crane

I think frequent visits become an addiction! You can only go so long between trips without needing a fix Yesterday I found out the D23 birthday party would be that week with a special dinner buffet, Wishes viewing & dessert party and a talk by an Imagineer about the changes coming to Fantasyland. Well guess who just joined D23 a couple weeks ago? So yea that party is something I'd LOVE to do! I'm thinking we'll have things decided by the end of next week

Good morning! I am also a HP fan, although I didn't grow up with Harry since I'm a bit older than him but I am dying to go to the WW! we have had a special HP exhibition at a nearby Museum here and I loved seeing everything. You could see the Hogwart's Express, get "sorted" by the hat, step into Hagrid's Hut, see all the costumes, etc. It was fantastic. I can only imagine how I'd be at the new WW! That will have to be our next trip, I guess.

I'll definitely keep posting since I'm addicted to the DIS and FB, so I am online whenever I get the chance! I love PTRs and TRs, always gets me excited for future trips and gives me more ideas. It's fun to share the "magic" with other people who feel the same.

Thanks for the update on the castle....I'll just have to be creative with my picture taking!! I actually have a picture from August of the crane putting the lights on....my philosophy was "if I can't see it all lit up at Christmas, at least I can watch them put the lights on".

If you happened to notice the title of the PTR changed it's because my mom, grandma and I are all going to Disney World at the beginning of March for my spring break!!!!!!!!!!!


We have already made ADRs and we will start updates once we have our package booked!!

We got our airplane tickets at a good price so it was a no brainer



I am also very excited to report that on this trip we will have our first ever planned Dis meet!!!!!!! We will be meeting Piper (MommysPiper) and Amanda (PipersMom)!!!!!!!!!

A beach trip? And skipping Disney?! We're actually thinking of trying the Disney cruise next year.( I think 2011 would be a good time to try something new since Fantasyland will be all torn up)

Our trip is officially booked!!!!!

Now the cast of characters for this trip include my mom and I and my grandma

This is my grandma with her dog Tinkerbell. Her last trip was in 08 when she went with my mom and I for Christmas time.
Favorite Character- Belle
Favorite Movie- Beauty and the Beast

We had a hard time deciding on a value resort this trip. My grandma and I have always loved Beauty and the Beast and have seen the stage show 2 times . She took me for my 5th birthday to see it in Toronto then we saw it again when I was 7 in Detroit. Due to this we weren't sure if we wanted to stay at All Star Music in the Broadway section which has all of the Beauty and the Beast stuff or if we wanted to stay at Pop Century which is a favorite of many Disers. I felt that if we weren't put in the Broadway section I wouldn't want to stay at ASMu so we decided on POP.

For this trip we will be celebrating my 4.0 and being on the Dean
s List

Our official dates are March 3rd-8th

We already made our ADRs so our day plans will be posted one by one starting this week
