If anybody's interested the Ruby Princess is entering the fjord right now heading toward the glacier. Those of us going to Alaska on the Wonder may get a sneak peak of what's in store for us this summer.

You have to click on the Ruby Princess to see it's bridgecam. Also of interest would be the Grand Princess which is sitting in port at Canada Place (Vancouver).

Coral Princess is also in the Port of Vancouver. Looks like cruise season has officially begun in Vancouver :)

I had it up the whole time and didn't see Sawyer Glacier. I saw shots where they had a few small icebergs, but nothing massive. Then the photo didn't change for an extended period, then it returned and pictures looked similar to what they had been, and now the ship is out of Tracy Arm. Apparently the long pause was when they turned around? Maybe not, I suppose it could have turned at any point and I wouldn't have been able to tell.

That ship is scheduled to return every Wed., so we shall see what happens next time!

The Grand Princess actually had the Glacier in the cam for a bit today. It is making it's turn in Glacier Bay right now.

So glad ships are getting in! I was worried about going so early in the season (we sail 5/25), but I'm much more confident now that our chances of getting to the glacier are very good!

It looks like they're filling up the dry dock in Victoria, BC for the Crown Princess to get under way this morning if anybody is interested in watching a launch. I think she starts her Alaskan cruises tomorrow. I wish Disney would put their bridgecams on the web so we could follow them around like this.

Southeast Alaska is getting the best weather I can remember in FOREVER! Someone likes us this year because it has been warm and awesome, and even the rainy days have been warm. Last year was awful with hardly any nice days. Hope it stays like this for all our visitors (well, and for me too!).

Can any former cruiser identify which dock position the Wonder has? (hoping it's the newer "ore")

I've been keeping up to date on next weeks weather so we know what to pack and it isn't pretty. I hope their weather person is as bad as ours.
