What princesses are typically at the Princess Breakfast? Family is going only one day Oct. 24 and I'm hesitant to do Princess Breakfast with a 4 year old because there are so many rides we could go on during the morning before the afternoon crowds.

She is obsessed with Elsa...but I don't want to go to California Adventure just to see her as there are few other rides she can go on.

With Frozen 2 coming out in November would they likely extend the ability to meet Elsa and Anna to the main park?

Thanks!

Right now it's Rapunzel, Tiana, Belle, Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas, Aurora, Ariel. They haven't mentioned if they will rotate out the princesses, although it would be cool if they did! Although I really loved the princess breakfast, I am not sure if I would use precious morning time for it, especially if you are there for a day. The whole thing is over 2 hours long. You could make a late morning reservation though, but then it can still eat up a good portion of your day.

Yeah this was what i was leaning towards. I know there are several princesses who do meet and greet at various times in the park so I'm thinking we'll hit up one or two of those. 4 year olds do not have a very large attention span for a 2 hour breakfast or the appetite for it! ;-)

If a parkhopper ticket is in the budget, you could take your DD to meet Elsa and also go see the Frozen show at the Hyperion. Instead of the princess breakfast at NR, maybe do the Frozen Dining Package at CCR?

Question: do you meet 8 princesses? In the online reviews I read it's only 5, except for the reviews from opening day, I think.

We met 7. But we went on opening day. We met Rapunzel, Tiana, Jasmine, Aurora, Belle, Pocahontas, and Ariel. Mulan was there but she switched out with Pocahontas so we didn’t get to meet her.

We met Jasmine, Aurora, and Tiana inside. Met Mulan outside for storytime and Ariel for our final picture. Then I mentioned that Pocahontas had kept walking by our table and that our server had specifically told the girls they were going to see Rapunzel and asked why we didn’t get to see them. So they stashed us back in the lounge for 20 minutes and then we did storytime with Pocahontas and final photo with Rapunzel. I never saw Belle anywhere on the premises.

So we met seven, but only because I asked and we were willing to wait for a fair amount of time. They also didn’t give me my complimentary glass of champagne at the beginning, so they did that while we waited in the lounge at the end.

It was a fun experience for my daughter and her friend (birthday), but they really don’t have their act together for the price. The princesses were top notch, really stellar interactions, but everything else was a bit odd. Stuff like I had coffee for eight minutes before anyone brought me creamer in spite of me asking several people... the server awkwardly explained that the tip percentages listed “are clearly by someone who can’t do math” because they aren’t right (for $125, anyway), but that’s a strange moment...

Yeah I would go back, but I am waiting for more consistent reviews! It would make for a great girls day! Princesses were amazing! Those interactions and the food I would go back for alone. We had great service but I’ve heard a lot of varying reviews about it, so sounds like they need some work with that.

Wow, they really need to get their act together for such a high end experience. Glad you were on it though!

@Skyegirl1999 @midnight star thank you for your help! It will take a while before I go to DL, but it worries me when you hear stories of guests themselves having to pay attention and take action to see all princesses. At other character meals I thought the handler was in charge of keeping track of all guests were visited. That is not the case here?

Other question, anyone here know at what time the last seating is? I'd rather go into the park for an hour or two and then have this meal as a brunch.

I’m not sure when the last seating is. But I checked further down the calendar and the latest time it keeps giving me is 10:40am. So maybe that’s the last time? The whole thing is over 2 hours so make sure you dedicate a lot time towards it.

Oh and FYI Casey from Disneyland daily did this breakfast on opening day and had a later reservation (I think 10:30ish), and hers got cut short because they ran out of time and princesses left. They had to adjust her check because of it. Not sure if that happens all the time with the later reservations, or if she just had bad luck. I went at 9:40 and didn’t have that happen. I would just make sure to know that the breakfast includes 6-8 princesses, adults get complimentary champagne, and kids get necklace and autograph book.

From what I am told Pocahontas and Mulan rotate for their experience, and I've seen Belle and Ariel do storytime, so I would guess those two swap as well. That would explain the "missing princesses" at least partly. ;)

My booking window opens next week, and I really want to go at least once. I will make sure to report back, but that won't be before end of September.

Hopefully more kinks are worked out by then! Overall, the experience was really great. Like I said, I would do it again, but I want to hear a wider range of reviews. I think they are trying to match some of the elite princess experiences at Disney World.

Oh, that’s definitely how it’s set up, but it’s problematic that the princesses you’re not seeing walk by (repeatedly). And then our server asked how the girls had liked Rapunzel, and we said we hadn’t seen her, and then he said, “oh, well then you’ll see her at the end!” But we didn’t (until I asked).

My daughter was dressed like Mulan, and when Mulan walked by, she gave her a long look and said, “oh, I can’t wait to see you later!” But we actually just barely made it out for Mulan’s last storytime, which she’d already started when we got out there (again, only because I asked - we’d been told someone would come and get us to go outside, but we’d paid and been at the table for awhile without anyone getting us). My daughter would have been pretty sad not to have met Mulan after she’d walked by and said she’d see her! Which easily would have happened if we’d just sat around... and it was her last set, so we’d just have been out of luck if we’d missed it.

For what they’re charging, girls shouldn’t be told WHILE THERE that they’re meeting princesses that they aren’t. Also, five princesses is what you met at Ariel’s Grotto, so it feels like a premium experience like this should guarantee at least 1-2 more IMO.

For what they are charging for this meal, every princess in the Disney line up should be there, and you should get time with all of them. We just moved from Texas to San Diego, and we are disney world veterans and have eaten at Cinderella’s Royal Table frequently. I was really disappointed to see how much they are charging for the one and only princess dining experience at Disneyland. Sorry. Apparently I just needed to vent! Ha!

That being said, since we are so close I think I’ll take my 3 year old here for her fourth birthday in lieu of a party etc. in January. But it’ll just be she and I, instead of our family of 4. I just can’t wrap my head around dropping $600 on this meal for the entire family. I’ll keep checking back here for more first hand accounts!!! It does seem like they do a great job with the event and it’s more involved than CRT at WdW.

If you ask me goofys kitchen is overpriced. The princess breakfast was fairly priced for what you get. Yes it is not for everyone. It’s not a meal in a 2 day trip. It is a very special event type of thing

Or you could by her a light saber

I was considering this for my daughter on our last trip - she's princess-mad right now - but it's just too expensive for what you get, especially with what you have to pay for the adults. I'd prefer a pricing structure more like the princess tea in WDW, where adults are charged less since they don't get all the souvenirs and the gift for girls is an actual princess doll.

Where is this princess meal? Is it like Cinderella’s Royal Table in WDW? We spent 6 days in Disneyland in April and didn’t see one princess. We saw plenty of other characters, especially at the Disneyland Hotel where we stayed. We even saw characters wandering near the pool. It was weird to not see one princess in Disneyland Park. In WDW, we always see them in the parks.
