Prince Harry's New Book... wow!

There are some BOMBS being dropped in Harry's new book "Spare." I don't plan on reading it but it certainly is interesting to see some of what he's saying: William got physical with him, Meghan got in trouble for telling Kate she had "baby brain" because of her hormones, begging Charles not to marry Camilla...

Think there's any truth? Will you be reading his book?

No plans to read the book or watch any of those TV documentaries. Most books like this are written with a particular slant the author has in mind with their version of reality and don't really care either way. They have said they don't want to be in the spotlight and just act like private citizens but then most of their behavior seems contrary to that. I just have zero interest in who said what to whom, who wore what or was/wasn't invited to various gatherings.

Won't be reading or watching. Read an article recently that they have an upcoming project they've titled "Live to Lead". Suddenly I understood the root of the problem. Those three words connected all the dots for me. I was actually surprised.

I hope they're very happy together and content to raise their children happily and well. They seem intent on mowing down any and everyone who doesn't gush over and praise them for their achievements(?) while they trash everyone in their lives who gives any sort of pushback (even perceived), or who doesn't seem advantageous to their endgame.

He can never have what he wants because he wasn't the firstborn heir apparent and she's not content with being beautiful and from all accounts talented in her chosen field either. Instead of being solid support and honest feedback for one another to guide each other positively they've chosen to build an echo chamber where they only hear their own viewpoints, complaints and woes while mounting a cockeyed campaign to tear down his family and the institution they embody. All while Harry and Meghan attempt to style themselves as pillars of philanthropy and leadership largely by hitching a ride on the efforts and limelight of those who truly sacrificed selflessly in a variety of causes advocating for change and betterment of others such as Nelson Mandela, Greta Thunberg and Ruth Bader Ginsburg among others.

Wonder how long it will take them to learn that simply because they feel a certain way about a situation or a circumstance doesn't necessarily make it factual? If they manage to clear that hurdle I can only wonder if they'll ever realize that other people also have feelings about things that are said and done and might need to be asked how they're doing as well? Oh well, guess they can always continue their naval gazing if those concepts prove too daunting.

I have no plans to read it.

He was very obviously unhappy with royal life throughout his late teen/early adult years, long before Meghan came onto the scene. If he didn't want to be part of the "machine" anymore (and who could blame him) that's fine. "Tell-alls" are something else entirely. I'm sure there are lots of things that go on behind the scenes, but I don't think anyone needs to air the dirty laundry.

If he just quietly went away and pursued his own passions/charities/experiences and wrote a book about that I might be interested. I'm not interested in him throwing others under the bus so he can make a buck.

I feel bad for their children, in that one day they will be old enough to read the book and search the internet, and see how their parents have behaved. It concerns me how H&M appear to burn so many bridges. What happens if Archie or Lilibet don’t want to live their lives according to their parent’s idea of how it should be done? Or, worse (in the eyes of H&M), what if one or both grow up staunch royalists who want to live permanently in the United Kingdom and support their grandfather/uncle? Children don’t always agree with their parent’s choices, and I hope they won’t be ostracized if that turns out to be the case in the future.

Nope….I will be respecting all the privacy they wanted and stay far away from that book and far away from their Netflix series. I don’t want to contribute to giving them to much attention.

I didn't watch the Netflix shows and probably won't read the book, but i am not a H&M hater as so many here seem to be. I think they did the right thing escaping the toxic (for them) royal family. Not sure about all the moves since. Hope they find peace and happiness in the US.

Just saw Harry will be on with Colbert Tuesday night.
