Ok ladies, I need your help. I am not a girly girl. If it were up to me make-up would never have been invented and everyone would live in sweats and sneakers
That'd being said, I would like to look pretty on the big day. So, I am wondering if any of you have or plan to do anything extra to make yourself look like Cinderella before the big day
Here are some things I am considering...
Has anyone had a facial? With my luck I'd break out from it, but I still would like to try.
I would like to get my eyebrows waxed or shaped. I have never done this before
I have strawberry blonde hair so you can barely se my eyebrows. I am wondering if it would make that big of a difference...
I am VERY white. So white in fact that the bridal salon employees gasped when I tried on a white gown
. Therefore, I am going with ivory. I absolutely 100% refuse to go tanning or lay out. Has anyone been spray tanned before? I've tried self-tanning lotions, but I always do it wrong
I am worried about getting spray tanned b/c when I am tan, I'm not really tan, it's more just that my freckles come out more. So, I don't want to look unnatural.
The only part of me that isn't white, are my teeth
I love coffee, and as my dentist reminds me all the time, he can tell. He recommends that I get my teeth-whitening done from him (he's not trying to rip me off, he is one of my mom's best friend's husbands and would most likely do the teeth whitening for free, as a wedding gift). I did the white strips before and that only helped a little. I'm planning on only drinking iced coffee for a couple months before the wedding, so do you think I should just do the white strips or have them professionally done?
I'm planning on getting a manicure and a pedicure 2or 3 days before the wedding. In the summer, I normally get pedicures every 3 weeks but never have manicures. How long before the wedding should I start getting manicures regularly? How long can I go in between them? I am not having tips or anything like that. I'd rip a nail off that way
Thanks so much for your help! If there is anything necessary that I am leaving out, let me know
I am pretty clueless about this kind of stuff
