Primetime for Lunch?

How is the Prime Time Cafe for lunch? I've never eaten there, and I'd rather save my nighttime at MGM for Brown Derby (my favorite ) but I do want to try somewhere new--and the menus on allears look yummy--but I have heard negative reviews--is the food good? And how's the service?

I've eaten there for lunch before. Its decent food and it makes you full. For lunch, I usually prefer Sci-Fi, but if that isn't available my family always goes to Prime Time.

We almost always eat our TS meals at lunch, then we go back to the hotel for a break and a nap!
PT is fun at lunch too and the servers are a little 'fresher' since they have not been working so long that day...

it is awesome...look for my review...day 8
there is a lot of food.
and the cm banter is not consistent...
but if you love the 50's, there is no other place for you.

I went to Prime Time for lunch for the very 1st time last December & I loved it. I had the Stacked Sandwich & for desert Strawberry Ice Cream Sundae. Prime Time is a great atmosphere for lunch & if I can I will go back there 100%.

Check out any recent Prime Time thread and I posted how much I hate this placed. My advice: avoid it like the plague.

I love Primetime for lunch....not comparable to the plague in my opinion.

The food is decent. It's not write-home-to-mom-about-because-it's-the-best-thing-you've-ever-tasted fantastic, but it's good.

I go for the interaction.....I'm a very sarcastic person, so you can really get going with the servers!! It's a lot of fun! Definitely worth a try!

We just had lunch there a few days ago, and we enjoyed it! I had the pot roast for lunch, which wasn't cheap, but it was tasty. The chocolate shake for dessert was great, and the kids had the S'Mores, which they said were good. It was terrific to take a break during the heat, and the decor is a lot of fun for someone who was a kid in the late fifties. It really reminds you of what your own house looked like!

Prime Time can be a BLAST if you are willing to cut up with your servers..Don't be shy! ..Prime Time is a give & take experience. We also LOVE to hit SCI FI for onion rings & milkshakes ..NOT what you would normaly have for lunch back home, but WHAT-THE-HECK! You are on VACATION!
