Hmmmm... hard to choose. For lunch I would choose Sci Fi - great burgers, fabulous milkshakes, cool atmosphere and it's just a fun place to eat. For dinner I would choose 50's Prime Time - all the same as above but more "dinner foods". You really can't go wrong. They are two of our "must dos"!!!
My teens really enjoy 50's PT because there is more to choose from on the menu and they like the atmosphere. The food at Sci-Fi was just OK. They liked the atmosphere there also but given a choice they would pick PT.
I would choose 50's PTC. We have eaten at both but really enjoyed PTC. The food is just Okay at Sci-Fi, but the food is much better at 50's. Also the interaction that goes on is alot of fun. We have eaten at PTC for lunch and dinner. It is true! Your better off hitting it for dinner!
We had lunch at PT last week, 4 adults, 2 - 11 yo's, one 8 yo. Everyone enjoyed it. I recommended the fried chicken based on what I read on these boards, and it was good. We had an OK waitress, but the one next to us was really funny. Four of us split an order of S'mores, which was perfect after the big chicken lunch, it was yummy! We gave it fourteen thumbs up! Diana
I would do lunch at Primetime and dessert at SciFi. The cars are really cool to eat in but the food was just so-so.
The interaction between the CM and the guests at PT is so much fun. The decor includes tv's set to 50's shows. We had so much fun there each time we have been there. It is high on the list of must do's while SciFi is a must do once, but other than that, we would not go out of our way for it. (And for really good burgers we go to Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club. Now those are GOOD burgers)
Thumbs down to Sci-Fi. The atmosphere is ok -- if you don't want to talk to each other. The food is OK.
Prime Time gets a BIG thumbs up from me. Love the food; love the atmosphere; love the interaction with the CMs. Highly recommend PTC for lunch or dinner, but be sure to make a PS!
...would pick Prime Time for dinner over Sci-Fi. I didn't like the fact that, at Sci-Fi, I couldn't see what I was eating (the atmosphere was GREAT, though!). Either way, both would probably be a big hit with the teens.... !
