I would really like to eat at PTC because of all the great reviews it gets here. We will be traveling with my in-laws and our three kids (7, 5, 1). Just wondering if the antics in the restaurant will be over their heads. Also, I can just picture my 5 year old arguing with the waitress if she tells him to eat something he doesn't want. (Just the way he is). Also, he will get very indignant if someone (other than his parents) tells him to stand in a corner or something. I believe both of my older two kids would enjoy watching the other diners, but not sure how they would feel about participating.

Anyone have any thoughts??

I think your older two will really enjoy Prime Time. The wait staff often pick on the parents, rather than the children, if there's a family with younger children. I'll never forget the look of delight on the children's faces at the table next to us when the server said "Here comes the airplane" and proceeded to whoosh the vegetables into their Dad's mouth, complete with sound effects. The best servers are also pretty sensitive to those who would be more comfortable watching, rather than participating.

I think you'll have fun!

Thanks! I think my daughter will be fine. She has a more easygoing personality. My middle son, however, has some unique personality quirks and you never know what is going to come out of his mouth!

The servers at PTC are great and can sense when someone doesn't want to participate in the antics. Cousin Chris tried a couple of times to get DD3 to participate in the antics but once he saw that she is shy he left her alone. And even though DD10 was turning beet red she really loved the attention when Cousin Chris did the "here comes the train" complete with whistle to her with the green beans!! Have fun!!!

Tell 5yo DS (secretly) when waitress comes over to say" oohh Im tellin: daddy said a bad word or daddy blew bubbles in his soda"
dont let anyone know and he will have hoot. I did this when dylan was 4 andd he was put in charge of the table. What fun!
