I am planning my meals for our Oct trip for me, DH, and DD1. I read here that B&C is quickly walkable from Epcot, so I was considering it as a lunch or dinner option with Q&C vouchers. I have never eaten at B&C, but it looks like a great voucher deal with the Prime Rib sandwich. Is the sandwich, etc really that extraordinary? I was just wondering, since there are so many great food choices within Epcot itself. We are already going to eat the lunch buffet type thing at Nine Dragons, and the Japanese counter service for dinner (2 different days). Is it worth it to make a separate trip (when not going to Epcot) to eat at B&C or spend an extra day at Epcot and eat here that day? We will be at WDW from the 10th-20th. DH is more of an american food buff, I love oriental food. If the sandwich is just ok, I don't think I want to have this be a "must do". Thanks!

We stayed at the BC in May and had the steak sub using our vouchers. It was OK. I wouldn't go out of my way to have it again. B&C was great in May with the vouchers as you could still get the Kitchen Sink on the voucher. A warning for dinner - there is usaully a long wait for a table. B&C is very small for the size of the resort. Doesn't make much sense to me. If you time your visit for before or after the lunch or dinner peak, it's not too bad.

Although we loved all the other food at B & C, the Prime Rib Sub was on the bottom of the list. Way too much fat for us. Much preferred a double burger and pay for the second roll to share.

The take out line is also long. People getting refills for mugs and buying ice cream. They'll give you a beeper, walk around and enjoy the area.

Make sure you're not letting the vouchers RULE YOUR TRIP. Sounds like you're planning the restaurant and food choice based on getting the most for your money. Pick the best restaurant WHERE YOU WANT TO BE and order the food you like. The goal shouldn't be to maximize your discount.

There was usually a wait for carry-out too and I think I remember they would not let you use the vouchers on a carry-out. The same line for carry-out was the line for mug refills. Not a very good plan. Althought I enjoyed staying at the BC, I much prefer POFQ as to the food situation.

We msut have had good prime ribs because ours were fine.
We also got there, no wait, and a table right away.

This was about 5 pm on wednesday or something like that.

I would also check the restaurant board about the Nine Dragons allyou can eat lunch. I would verifty that is still going on. I thought I read it was discontinued.

We ate at B&C...but sorry, not the prime rib...I think chicken but I could be wrong. I think they also had turkey [cold cut] sandwiches if I'm remembering correctly.

We enjoyed B&C, including the desserts ;) ... found it very pleasant... & would definitely go back if we were in the area. I would not leave EPCOT to go to B&C though...unless we wanted a break from the park...because they are equal alternatives in EPCOT & IMHO it's important to put a value on time expense as well as dollar expense.

Hope this helps you. Have a wonderful time at WDW! :)

He just wish he had horseradish sauce for it. We sometimes get the double cheeseburger and tell them we are sharing and they usually bring it out in two separate servings - cut in half, each half with it's own fries. My mom liked the chili cheese dog, but could only eat half of it. We go at least twice a trip, never had a bad meal.

We enjoyed our prime rib sub. DH and I shared it, along with an order of onion rings. This left a little room for the fabulous sundae. We got the Fudge Mud Slide. It was delicious. We went at noon on a Sat. in June and the place was empty.

Whether or not it is worth it to make a special trip there is hard to say. We bought the vouchers with the sole intention of using them there, but we were staying at the Dolphin so we knew it would be easy to pop over there. There is so much good food at EPCOT that it makes the decision hard. If you like ice cream, I would say go for it! The other food was typical soda shop food.

Personally, I think it is a good deal and would make the special trip. But if you are more interested in quality food or trying the World Showcase food, then maybe it wouldn't be worth it.

We also made a special trip to Pepper Market where the deal was even better. But we did this on one of our free days, so it didn't take up park time.

I found it to be dried out and terrible. They fry it because I sat at the counter and saw how it was cooked it. I would NOT order it again. Several different burgers to choose from and I am sure these are good. Plus leave room for dessert!

We didn't like it either. The second time we ate there we got the burger...it was really good. The place is very small!!! But we made a special trip there and felt like we had to wait. If you are staying there, it's worth going to.

We also did not think it was anything special. DH said he would not order it again.

Personally, I wouldn't leave EPCOT just to eat at B&C because of the time it takes to walk there, wait, etc.
