Prime Now v Garden Grocer

We're staying at the Polynesian at the end of January. Is there a benefit to using Garden Grocer over Amazon Prime Now? We're not ordering much - bottled water and cereal mainly. I've never used either of them, so trying to figure out what the differentiaters are.

I always use GG. I've never had any issues, and their service is awesome. Personally, I'd prefer to give them my business rather than the behemoth Amazon.

But, if that is all you are getting, you won't make the minimum order for GG. And, after paying the delivery charge, you are probably spending as much as you would on water there at the resort. Amazon has a lower minimum and no delivery fee (just a recommended tip of $5 or 10%)

Amazon has no guarantee that any items will be available when you go to order. Of course Garden Grocer requires a certain time period before your delivery (72 hours) where as Amazon is same day. If you go for Amazon just be okay with the fact that if they are out of what you want you'll either need to cab to the Publix (there is one behind MK) or buy from the resort.

GG delivers beer and wine; Amazon Prime Now does not.

Safeway also delivers beer and wine, and has lower prices than GG does.

I've used Amazon Prime Now as well as GG many times. Safeway I've used many times, but not at Disney (yet). I'm using them next time!

For just water & cereal, I'd pack some cereal in my luggage and buy water at the resort probably.

We used GG for our trip last year and were happy with it, but you have to have a decent order to make the delivery charge worth it. I loved that they delivered beer and wine. We ran out of beer half way through the trip (hey, it was hot ) and they almost weren't able to deliver more because of the lead time required, but we called and they were able to accomodate.
