Why wouldn't you just pack it before you left?

Even if they do have it it will cost a fortune to buy there. I always take that kind of stuff with me and hope I don't have to use it.

I live in Canada, it is prescription only here. I have been having tummy troubles and Zantac is not really cutting it anymore. The earliest appointment to see my Dr is after our trip. Too late then. I'm afraid that with all the different foods that I will probably eat ( we are on vacation after all) I may have troubles, so I wanted a stronger alternative to zantac available until I can get in to see my physician.

With the prices Disney will charge for it if they have it, you are probably better off taking a cab to the closest pharmacy or grocery store, and getting it there. You can also stock up on snacks & drinks while you're there...the savings will more than cover the cab fare.

ETA: Check out www.gardengrocer.com. they will do your shopping for you and deliver it to your resort. A lot of people get a case of water, cereal, milk, snacks, etc. delivered to your room. I'm not sure if they will do medications, but I know that people have gotten alcohol delivered through them, so I don't see why not.

You might also try looking in the shops in the Orlando airport. Sorr I can't remember if Disney sells it. Good luck with it!

The resorts don't have a large selection of over-the-counter medications, so I'd be kind of surprised if they have it.

I think the suggestion to check stores at the airport is a good one. There's no drugstore there that I know of, but the Hudson News places have a decent selection of sundries.

If you don't have any luck there, Turner Drugs will deliver to WDW resorts.

You should be able to find prilosec at any local store before you arrive at Disney.

We just returned several weeks ago. My husband was having problems and at two different resorts, we only found Pepcid, not Prilosec. If I recall correctly, it was $2 per pill, and he was having to take a couple per day.

I'm wondering since Prilosec is becoming more and more used if it is something that might be able to be gotten at the Hess gas station in Down Town Disney that everyone reccomend for drinks and snacks?

What about ordering it from drugstore.com and having it shipped to your resort? I just checked and a box of 42 tablets was $26.99 and they offer free shipping for any order over $25.

I'm not sure if there is an issue ordering it since you live in Canada but are shipping it to WDW. But it's worth a try.

Take a few hours to taxi yourself to the WalMart on SR 535, shop for snacks, souveniers, and sundries, and pick up your Prilosec there. WalMart has several different size packages of Prilosec, the largest of which is 42 pils (over a month's supply) for about $25. That will give you enough for your trip and plenty to take home with you.

Me too I take it every 4 days, its my "magic" pill. Walmart is your best bet, they have the 14 pills for 8.49 which is a BARGAIN.

You could always check prices with Turner Drug if you are concerned. They were a little more for some Lactaid that my daughter and I did not bring enough of on our last trip. (Too much good food!) But I must say, it was well worth that little bit extra and the small $5 delivery fee not to have to leave the parks to go get it ourselves. It just arrived at our resort after a simple phone call. So worth it! And we could eat like we wanted to again.
