Didn't I read somewhere that we would now be charged the highest rate for each night of our stay, rather than making split ressies. Have been thinking about changing our stay at Pop from 12/31-1/5 to POR, but at $245 a night it's kinda stretching it.. So is it true I'll only pay the $245 for the holiday's? Like New Years Eve and New Years?

Thanks!

as the PP stated, I think that change starts next year. If not, what if you do a split stay....stay the first nights an one resort at the reg. rate, and then switch to another resort for the "holiday rate" nights. I know some people hate to switch resorts, but it could save you a lot of $$. Just an idea.

How it appears is that you will pay each night's rate for each night (if that makes sense).
Say 12/24, 12/25 and 12/31 are $245 a night; 12/26, 12/27 and 12/28 are $175 a night; and 12/29 and 12/30 (the weekend) are $200 per night. You would pay $1,415 for the week. It averages out to $202 per night – and remember, these rates are almost ENTIRELY figments of my imagination :)

I like that answer, and those numbers! LOL! (Ok, I know you made them up, but I still like them!)

If I can't get it the way you mentioned, I'll do a split ressie at the Pop and POR, but this is DH's first time going, and he already is thinking that I'm over planning, and a big PITA. He's still cussing at trying to decide what he's going to eat 6 months from now. Got to keep things as easy as possible for him!
