My daughter and I are currently scheduled for our 10th Disney cruise coming up next April, and I have a price question. We booked this the first day these dates came out for gold and platinum members. And now I am needing to possibly change our sail date. But when I called to change the date to February, I was quoted the current prices. If I'm not mistaken, I thought if I called to modify an existing cruise, I was able to get the prices that existed on my original booking date. Can anyone confirm this? Thank you for any responses.

if you upgrade your room and remain on same cruise you get the price the room was on the day you booked ( I did this). if you change to a completely different cruise you get the rate on the day of the change ( I did this as well)

You can't go and change cruises and get that cruise price at the old date. It doesn't work that way. You just get the % off and OBB that you received as long as you are within the 24 month booking period from the date of the original booking.

I guess I was mistaken. Thank you both for your quick responses.

If you change stateroom categories on the same cruise date then it is considered a CHANGE and you keep the same tier pricing as the day you booked.

If you change cruise dates then it is considered a CANCELLATION and NEW BOOKING which means you get the current pricing on that day.
