IS there any place to price a suite besides calling Disney? We aren't sure of exact dates and so I hate to waste the long distance call until we know for sure.

Princess...

You can call Disney toll free at:

1-877-939-3732

There is a brief automated menu....then you are placed on hold for the next available operator. I booked my reservation 3 days ago through this toll free number.

Just an FYI,

The area that handle suites has had trouble with their computer system for the past few weeks.

Usually, anyone can book it-CRO or WDTC-but for some reason they had to write everythig down on paper and do it by hand.

Supposedley, everything is fixed as of a few days ago.

Is there a suite in paricular you are interested in? Just curious:D

Have a wonderful trip.

I can't speak from experience with those suites.

We visited the Contemporary on our last trip and did NOT like it. It seemed dirty. I have a feeling the suites aren't as dated as the rest of the hotel seemed and I have heard good things about their concierge service.

The Poly-I think the suites are in a seperate building from the concierge lounge. Maybe someone else can confirm this. Would this be an issue for you?

I would have to go with the GF. Elegant, close to MK, etc.

Let your fingers do the walking -- all the way over to the official Walt Disney World website (click here for the Deluxe Resorts webpage). Once there, click on any of the resorts' webpages, for example, the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Once on a particular resort's webpage, click on the link for RATES. On that page you will find pricing for their suites. Click here for AKL RATES webpage.

Disney started adding suite pricing info to their website at least two years ago. Before that, any time I was interested in booking a suite and needed pricing info, I had to call them. They used to have a special group at CRO that handled suite reservations, but that also changed a few years ago. Since that time I've been able to book my suite stays directly with CRO (but now I use Dreams Unlimited Travel for all my WDW reservations, suite and otherwise).

By the way, I've stayed in suites at the GF (two different 2-bedroom suites), YC (Captains Deck Suite), and AKL (1-bedroom and 2-bedroom suites). I've also stayed in 1-bedroom & 2-bedroom villas at OKW & BWV. I don't have all my suite or villa photos posted, but do have a few in my on-line photo albums (click here). You can PM me if you have any questions or post them here. Like everyone else here on the Dis, I'd be happy to help answer your questions.

Janet2k - I Loved the pictures !!! Looks like I have lots of decisions to make. Thanks for all the help. I am really leaning toward the GF posssibly even just the deluxe concierge room. Any suggestions? Can you get one with a MK view? Are they all in the main bldg (which is where we definately want to be). Thanks again!

Cinderella37 is absolutely correct in regards to the fact that suites at the GF are found in many of the lodge buildings and not just the main building. The two suites I stayed in were in Conch Key (second floor and third floor) and had a wonderful view of Cinderella's Castle. Conch Key is my favorite building at the GF -- yes, I like it even more than the main building.

I just stayed in a deluxe concierge room in the main building that was handicap-accessible. I was in a wheelchair during my vacation and was glad that I had booked the main building (it made things a little easier on me since my daughter was booked into four events at the GF). I wrote about my GF stay in a thread on the Dis' Trip Reports board (click here to view it). Our stay there was magical.
