Clueless when it comes to prices......

Have been shopping around for an October 4 day break to DLP and have encountered a variety of prices so what would be a good indicator for staying onsite (maybe Cheyenne or Santa Fe) for 2 adults and a child flying from Scotland into CDG.

A travel agent quoted me £1400 :sad2: but then I looked on an online site and found the same holiday for circa £650. Am I missing something obvious here?

Have a play with the online booking page here, to get an idea of the hotel + ticket prices. Are you able to fly with any of the budget airlines? If so, it's often cheaper to book the things separately.

Otherwise the £650 package sounds good - depends what was included?

I've had wonderful help form this board...so will pass on my experience.......I too am flying from Scotland to CDG. I adult and 1 child.

Booked independently @ the Holiday Inn (£222 for 5 nights) and got park tickets (3 day hopper) for £130 (1 x adult + 1 child)

Only difference from brochure is transfers and breakfast.......

I'm really chuffed and almost halved the price of my trip (well infact I was going to have to cancel as it was so expensive for me) so we're now going :cloud9: in September.....can't wait.

Thanks again to everyones help on this site...you're stars! :sunny:

It was for 2 adults and 1 child going to Santa Fe for 4 nights flying out of Edinburgh to CDG but no tickets included or transfers.

Have look here for the ticket prices on the gate.

Transfers between CDG airport and DLP are 16 euros for adults and 13 for children (3 - 11), each way.

So time to do some calculations!!! ;)

Sounds good to me. :thumbsup2

We flew from Edinburgh last year (September)and paid around 450 for flights and 450 for accomodation(including tea party) for 4 nights/5 days.

I would go for your online offer and buy annual passports (about £90 per person). Still saves from your original quote.

When in October are you thinking of going, we had a very good deal the year before last in early October, all the Halloween stuff was in full swing, the parks were very quiet and the weather was lovely.

It'll probably be considerably cheaper (if you're not tied to school hols) to avoid half term week. :)
