Prices on the rise? Or not?

Are you saying the seller is pulling their listing? If so, why would you make an offer? They are probably debating whether or not to sell. You run the risk of them pulling out after ROFR and before closing! There are SO many contracts out there, unlike 18 months ago. Another one is just around the corner. If you want a lower price, you really need to work for it. Good luck!

So after a small hiccup in the offer they accepted! Now onto ROFR.. :scared:
I'm pretty sure we will pass as we are on the high end of the range for AKL.. But who knows..

I wanted to say.. I know why the wanted to pull the add... An it's not that they do not want to sell..
I'm not going to list the reason as I feel it a personal matter, and would not want to embarrass them, if they are on here..
But I am VERY thankful they except my offer..

Just to help below is the actual OCC DVC resale data for the month of January. Feb 2014 numbers should be out in a week... This has been prepared by Don Munsil (co-guru of MouseSavers) ...

Thank you soooooooo much for this! Our current offer is on the high end for a smaller contract in AKL..
But I can see that maybe my offers of 75PP were probably a little to low for a 100p contract..
And the fact that there were only 2 OCT. Contracts... Makes me feel even better about our deal..
An as long as buyers are buying sellers are not going to come down from mid-high 80s

so how can we get this info?

Here is a link to the Indian River County records search function.

If you do not know the name of the buyer, you can at least use "Disney Vacation Development" in the "Name" field, select "Deeds" as the document type and I think you also need to select a range (Last 30 days, Last 60 days, Last 90 days) or specific date range and it should bring up a list of transactions. I was able to bring up a list dating back to 1995 when the first units were sold at VB.

I would expect that other information may be accessible if you play with the search tools a bit.

This information along with similar links for Orange County, FL and Beaufort County, SC , are available in the DVC Resource Center at the top of each DVC discussion forum.

Thanks Doc. Didn't know that. Knew they couldn't pull it up on the Orange County site...
