Hi, it's time I put some thought into purchasing my 7 DHP. We are 2 adults and 2 kids, but ds is only 2 so he's free! We'll get the CDN deal for dh and myself, but pay full price for dd(8). Thought I would share my findings:

Disney Store $1141.00 (with character breakky) Square One * I asked if my $10 coupon would apply to this, they said NO!

Sears Travel Erin Mills $1115.00 (BUT! They said no breakky, I begged to differ and they stuck by their guns!)

Sears Travel Square One $1118.65 (with character breakky)

CAA MUST HAVE MEMBERSHIP ($58 basic/$95 supreme package annually) $1149.00 (with char breakky)

LOOKS LIKE SEARS TRAVEL AT SQUARE ONE WILL GET MY MONEY! A bit over $20.00 savings is a snack and coffee at the airport! Sandra

Last year we bought the exact same tickets without the breakfast for $1058.00 but the dollar was a bit better then. That's a $60 difference from last year, it's the addition of the breakfast, increased ticket prices and exchange making the difference. BTW DS was charging $1110 last year without the breakky. Interesting eh? Sandra

I bought mine at sears. If you collect Sears club points, you will get them if you put the tickets on your card. Also, they have a deal, where you arent billed until the END of the month you travel....ask about this, it was free to do.

I checked prices at Sears and they informed me that if I only purchase passes, they would have to charge me an administrative fee of $28.75 per ticket!!!!!

I then went to CAA and the price was actually cheaper with no fee (I am a member). Price was $1676 for 3 adult and 2 children. (I can't believe that Disney considers an 11 year old and adult). This included the breakfast.

Breakdown: 2 x 449.00 (Adult) - $898.00
1 x 224.50 (Adult 1/2 price) - $224.50
1 x 369.00 (Child) - $369.00
1 x 184.50 (Child 1/2 price) - $184.50

Can't remember the price at Sears but it did included the breakfast. The difference wasn't drastic but the administrative fee was ridiculous.

The total price I paid at Sears was $1700. for 2 adults and 3 children. I think they "forgot" to charge me the adminfee.

re check the CAA price for membership. I used to hace CAA for the car but two years ago when I bought a new car I got the roadside assistance package with it. When I mention this to my CAA insurance man he said that there was another membership that you can get, its called A la Carte. It entitles you to the same discounts as other CAA members, travel insurance tickets etc. but not the roadside service. Its only $30.50. Maybe this can help.
