Prices for Grand Californian?

After returning from our best trip EVER to BCV this past Thanksgiving , I have severe addonitis . Does anyone know what the current sales price is for the Villas at Grand Californian? My guide has been out of town since I was struck with this urge to buy points. Thanks for any current numbers!

The VGC is sold out, but that doesn't mean you can't still find points to add through Disney, or resale.

The price is $120 per point for GCV, no discounts. When we checked in December, DVD had some UY available. -- Suzanne

In Oct I called and asked my guide if we could add on 60 points at VGC, and she said they were sold out for all UY atm but would be happy to put me on a waiting list and it would be hit or miss as to whether June UY might come up and if it did it would be $116/pt (I think but my memory might be wrong on the amount). So we went to TSS and ended up getting a 75 point contract at $81/pt ... though I saw a different contract pass ROFR at $80/pt w Dec UY on the ROFR thread. Anyhow, were happy to have just closed and gotten our new membership number!

I spoke with my guide today. Yes, $120 is the price and there are no discounts. There was also a short waitlist for my UY.

I am considering a resale contract instead. It will probably take longer, but $120 is too steep for my budget at the moment.

But boy, do I have addonitis !

Go for resale - no question! We are currently completing on 70 resale pts at VGC at $80 per point - yes it's taking longer but for a saving of $2,800 (before closing costs) I can wait!!!
