How do the prices at Disney Springs at the shops like Vera Bradley, Under Armor, the non-Disney places, compare to the same "brand" store at a shopping mall elsewhere? I've never done much shopping there-just looked in World of Disney, and well, there you're paying Disney prices. But I love Under Armor-but I'd hate to get back home and go to a UA store and find out that I could have bought the same shirt for half the price!

Sometimes they have items that aren’t available in their regular stores so you can’t avoid the Disney premium. I have shopped in the Coach store at DS, and they don’t appear to raise prices, but you can often find sales on their website you won’t find at DS (on the regular products - the special Disney products aren’t always on the website). The reverse is also true, that I have found sales in the store that are not on the website.

Of course, you always have the option to look up their websites while you are shopping at DS to compare prices and availability. If I were concerned that is what I would do.

As others have said, prices are comparable but generally, you won't find as many items on sale. One exception I've found is at the Columbia store. I got a great buy on a winter coat when I was there in August - and the selection was great! No one is thinking about buying a winter coat when it's nearly 100 degrees outside and it's FL. Plus a lot of people don't have room to pack a winter coat. You can probably find better prices on Under Armor on Amazon, that's where I buy most of my UA workout clothes. Also, FL does tax clothing if you live in a state where there is no tax on clothing (I live in MA and clothes are one of the few things the state doesn't tax), so figure that in.
